My experiences with Dr. Walters were very positive. She was an empathetic listener who helped me process things without judgement. She listened to my ideas and helped me look for paths/solutions moving forward. She also stressed nonjudgement of the self, which was something I needed. Overall, I think she was a good fit, a good therapist, and highly recommend her to others.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Dr. Walters is amazing! We have such a great relationship. I had a previous counselor before who I didn’t feel a connection with and it was hard to communicate but Dr. Walters matches up with me perfectly! She’s like a friend who’s willing to listen and help and that’s EXACTLY what I wanted. She replies to my texts in a timely manner, makes time to schedule sessions with me outside of her availability and shares her experiences with me. I’ve definitely improved because of her. Love her.

Dr. Walters has change my life in such a short time and I am forever grateful. She was very attentive and engaging with me throughout our sessions and always provided me with a sense of comfort and freedom to speak honestly without fear. I can tell that she is passionate about her work and only wants to see others succeed and heal. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a laid back, down to earth, great listener on their side!

Only been with Dr. Walters for a few weeks now, but I'm confident this was a good decision! Dr. Walters is very warm, kind, and relatable. 10/10 would recommend. I'm here for career counseling primarily, but I would be comfortable talking about other things as well.

J.O.·Dec 2018

Dr. Walters has been extremely supportive and responsive. She is able to understand without judgment, while also challenging issues with a more positive perspective. It is a rarity that someone is able to join logic, hope, and understanding in regards to mental health issues. She is not over joyous, to the point of hallmark cards, but leaves a positive impression to carry with you day-to-day. She applies logic to things that seem unreasonable, without making it seem like an excuse. Her ability to understand situations she has not experienced herself, is remarkable. Though she is not hesitant to express things that she herself cannot imagine (i.e. the loss of a child, ect.). I consider myself lucky to have been paired with Dr. Walters.
