Rebecca is a responsive, supportive and thoughtful counselor who gives me tangible goals each session and listens attentively. She asks great questions to dig deeper and is flexible on scheduling, which is so helpful with two young kiddos at home. I’ve really enjoyed working with her!

Rebecca is the best therapist I've had in 20 years of therapy. She's thoughtful and I get the sense she genuinely cares about me. I feel like I can be myself with her, which is not something I feel very often.

Life can be hard. Work can be hard. Relationships can be hard. You don't have to handle all of it on your own. Getting help means you are strong; it means you are courageous; it means you are smart. I would like to help you. I want to help you remember how to care for yourself; help you learn new skills about communication and being in relationships; help you feel better.

I view my clients as the ultimate expert on themselves and their lives. I help guide them, possibly teach them if that's what they need, and partner with them as they move toward feeling well, healthy, and whole. I have significant experience with adolescents and young adults.

I specialize in grief and loss (as well as other issues) and believe everyone's journey through that process is unique. My treatment approach with other concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship issues and life changes will begin with discovering where you are in the process and then in a very client-centered and strengths-based way, together we will utilize the techniques and theoretical lenses I have developed in my 15 years in practice.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I was so glad to be paired with Rebecca. She is accommodating of my schedule, gets back to me in a timely manner, encouraged me to use the chat and other ways to communicate, and has the experience as a counselor (as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker) I was looking for. She takes the time to listen, is very encouraging and helpful in practical day to day living, personable, warm, kind, and like a cheerleader for me. It’s comforting to know she’s in my corner, wants to see me do well and has the skills to help me in my progress as a human being. So glad to BetterHelp. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
