Hi there,
My name is Ebony Johnson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. If you found your way to my page I'm assuming that you're probably not having the best day. Let me assure you that whatever you are going through, there is a way out. I have experience with Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Relationship issues, self esteem and many others in the adult and college student population.
I believe that all of us at our core want to feel accepted, loved, appreciated and want our lives to make a difference. My approach to therapy is always warm, accepting, and validating but at the same time encouraging growth from areas that seem to keep you stuck. I help my clients recognize the power they have to make small changes which can lead to a more satisfying life. Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

She’s great
Ebony Johnson is very kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She is great at holding space and not over analyzing until the situation warrants analysis. I enjoy working with her.
Having Ebony Johnson as my therapist has been great for me. She really takes her time in our sessions and makes me feel valid no matter what I’m feeling. She has helped me discover a lot about myself and I’m glad I have the ability to work with her.
She is very welcoming and even when I thought the things I was talking about were "stupid" or not worth talking about, she always approached it with the perfect mix of warmth and professionalism. After every session I left feeling like I was heard, and had practical next steps for whatever it is we were working on that day. She is awesome.
