Dr. Brady has been a huge help to me. I worked with a few other therapists here on betterhelp and in person who were great but just weren't the right fit for me. Dr. Brady is the first therapist I've worked with that has really helped me feel heard and understood. She's the first one who gives me things to work on, like worksheets in the app and things to read to really help make things need to work on stick with me so I can use those same tools in real life. I am in the midst of a very complicated situation, and signed up for BetterHelp to get some guidance. Before my first video session with Dr. Brady, she asked me about my background and what’s going on my life life right now, and I ended up sending her a pages-long message explaining it all. When we talked for the first time in the video session, it was clear to me that she not only actually read all of it, but in just the first 10 minutes or so, I could tell that she had taken the time to really understand it. I could see that she just “got” how my background tied into my current life circumstances, and I immediately felt reassured and confident that she already knew how to make sense of all of it and for the first time in a long time, I feel like my life is manageable and I can finally get better!

I’ve been in therapy for over 2 years mostly using BetterHelp because of how convenient it is.
