Hello My name is Joseph and and I am a clinical social worker (LICSW) with 7 years of experience in treating a diverse group of clients from adolescents to older adults. I received my Masters Degree from Boston College I believe deeply that people hold the potential to manage and improve their lives with approrpiate support and some new skills. I have helped those struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, addictions, bi-polar disorders, and more. Joseph is very helpful and listens thoughtfully. He takes the time to help you work through problems and focuses on your specific needs. I would recommend him to others.
Haven’t had too many sessions so far but Joseph really tries to ask and understand what’s going on, he’s also funny and personable so even if we are digging deep during a session I still feel very supported! Totally would recommend!
Joseph has helped me out greatly in the short time we have worked together. He listens to me and is always giving me a reality check, which I need with my anxious thoughts. He has suggested several ways to deal with my struggles including meditation, deep breathing, imagery, and mindfulness. He takes the time to help me understand and focused on what the real problem is that I am dealing with and is flexible in offering suggestions. He asks a lot of question to help him and me target my areas of need and always had a take home message and something to work on for the week.
