There are many ways to be helpful in therapy and when someone doesn’t know where to start, therapy can seem daunting and impossible. Arielle exceeds the standards of therapy techniques and is not afraid to be innovative with people who need a different way to be helped. She doesn’t make you feel like there is a set structure to helping yourself. It evolves and she’s amazing at help you focus on your own goals.

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. For the last 8 years I've been working as a mental health therapist with individuals and families in their home and school settings. I've been able to help individuals with varying needs at a wide range of life stages who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, early symptoms of eating disordered behaviors, and other difficulties related to life stress. I currently have certifications and specialized training in addressing distress and traumatic events across the lifespan.

My counseling style is empathic, supportive and motivational. I'm eclectic in my use of treatment modalities, however I most often utilize cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and person-centered techniques. I believe it is essential for me to make adjustments to my style if it better enables you to reach your personal goals.

I understand it probably has been difficult to make the decision to seek out help in facing whatever is causing you any level of unhappiness. Since you're here I believe that means you're ready to make the transformation you envision.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Arielle is great!! She is very positive about everything. She sees the whole picture your trying to paint before she tries to point out specific areas. She is very professional, but she understands when things can be a little personal. She responds very timely to a everything you send her and she listens to anything you want to tell her. If you need to actually talk she will schedule a time within just a couple days. I’m sure there’s a lot of other great counselors out there but I wouldn’t trade her for anyone.

She's helped remind me and reinforced the idea of personal responsibility, and the dangers of slipping into a victim mentality, which has been a great wake up call.

Arielle has been a great help to me during a difficult time. She presents open-ended questions that allow me to mull topics over. Given the virtual nature of this resource, I find the approach so valuable, because I can answer things in my own time. Sometimes my gut response to something differs greatly from a well thought response, so I enjoy having time to really think through what I want to say. I never feel judged or admonished by Arielle. She is there to lend a helping hand and provide tools that I can use at my own pace. She is supportive and kind. I highly recommend BetterHelp!
