Personal difficulties can be very disheartening. Whether you are experiencing emotional pain, are seeing your children struggle to make good decisions, or are longing for a greater sense of well-being, you can be left feeling defeated, helpless and angry. But things can get better.

As a clinical therapist, I am experienced in working with those who are facing life’s struggles. Together we can explore the source of the problems, set goals to improve your situation, and lay out steps to reach those goals. All that is needed is a commitment to work toward making things better, and a belief that you are not stuck in the muck of today.

I am a graduate of Notre Dame, and hold a Master's degree in clinical counseling. I love helping people and have a warm approach, but am also known to challenge people to take active steps toward improvement and a happier life.

Truly things can get better once you take the first steps, and I would be happy to help you reach your goals of improved happiness, success and joy.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jennifer has been amazing! I feel as though she truly cares about me and my well being. Once we addressed the initial reasons I began therapy, she was very thorough in helping me search out new areas in which I could improve my life/attitude/habits that would really add to my quality of life. Many of them were areas I had never even thought to be lacking but she had some great tips for all of them. I would highly recommend her!

I didn't know how bad I was really doing and feeling when I first started working with Jennifer. Now that we have been working together for a year, I can easily see and feel how much better and more capable I feel. She has always been able to meet me where I am, and accommodate my needs as they change. I feel like we have been through a lot together, but I also know that I am the one who helped myself. She fosters that feeling, and our counseling relationship is a like dancing where we each might take a turn leading. She is the perfect fit for me.

There are few people I have meet that can take a verbal rambling, take it apart, and make sense of what I am trying to say. I feel Jennifer has been able to talk me through some of the problems I have and bring me to a better place.
