Hi! My name is Joyce A. Graham. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I completed my Master's Degree in Community Counseling at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I currently have a private practice in Missouri where my counseling specialties include issues involving anxiety; depression; grief/loss; stress; and PTSD.
The interpersonal strengths that I bring to the counseling profession are compassion, a genuine concern for the welfare of others, and Christian integrity. I know, personally, what it means to face adversity and I have a passionate desire to see others overcome the struggles, pain, and disappointments of life.
Counseling is my passion! My counseling style is eclectic which means that I believe that the therapeutic process should be tailored to address the individual concerns of the client.
I love walking along side people as they work through life challenges. I am here to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. I want to assure you that anything you share with me will be held in the strictest of confidence and your privacy is protected.
On a personal note, I have been married for 42 years and am the mother of 3 grown children; 2 daughters and 1 son. If you want to know more about me, please feel free to ask.
I commend you for reaching out for counseling. Having someone to talk to makes it easier to process our feelings. I believe that you and I working together can begin addressing your concerns and work towards processing any challenges or obstacles to your success.
I look forward to communicating with you soon!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

We are just getting started, but I am confident that we will work well together and she will definitely be an aide to me.
Joyce has been given a gift of empathy beyond any other counselor I have come across. Joyce listens, truly listens in a way that she is able transport and place herself in the other person's shoes (the person seeking counselling). You will feel like she truly "gets you" and fully grasps the complexity of any problem. I have never felt more comforted and secure knowing she truly understood what I was dealing with. Which is how she was able to help guide me through a very difficult transition period in my life. Thank you Joyce! God Bless
I am a grown man, a preacher in fact, and have appreciated and trusted Joyce's counsel on personal matters, ranging from dealing with family, anxiety, stress, anger, depression, and boundaries. She has been very helpful. Highly recommended.
She is truly the best!! She gives "love" when needed but also "hard truth" when needed! So easy to talk with, I feel like I've known her forever
