I've been working with Erin for a bit over three years now and I made the decision today to end therapy. I was struggling with pretty much all aspects of my life when I started therapy and the work we've done together has changed everything. I can't remember a time before when I felt hopeful like I do now. Erin is very compassionate and really puts the effort in to empathize and work with you at your own pace. Making the decision to leave has been very hard but I know I have the tools I need to go forward and build on the work we've done together to make things better and better day by day.

Welcome. My name is Erin Foley and I am a licensed Mental Health counselor in Florida and Washington. I have over ten years working in the counseling field. I assist clients struggling with work/school challenges, identity, anxiety, mood disfunction, family difficulties, life transitions, past trauma, and grief/loss.
My intention in therapy is to provide you a safe space where you may gain insight and face challenges with greater ease and confidence. Therapy is opportunity to learn about self, allow more space and possibilities in your life. I have watched others build self support, identify unhelpful patterns, and connect more fully in their relationships. I offer you a chance to practice the change you seek in a safe supported space.
I utilize different modalities from Psychodynamic therapy, Relational psychology, Mindfulness based therapy, Somatic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In first few sessions, we will identify your hopes for counseling and outline your goals. I may offer movement or somatic based exercises in session as another practice tool for building awareness and insight.
Finding a counselor that you feel comfortable with is important for building a safe connection to gain insight and make changes. I provide an open perspective, compassionate listening and a safe space for you to share your concerns. Through the process of therapy, I hope for you to gain deeper understanding of yourself and find the support you need.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Erin really listens and is great at helping me think about the root of some of the feelings and actions I take.
I’ve been working with Erin since 2020 and it’s really helped me. Thanks to Erin, I have better tools and am learning to practice them everyday. I feel really safe talking to her.
I’ve been thinking working with Erin for the last year and half and it’s been such a help to me. Having the extra support to work through changes in my life was something I really needed. The tools and methods I’ve learned have helped me work through anxiety and have had healthier outcomes instead of spiraling. I’m a doer and I though I could logic my way into better mental health, but asking for support and seeking help from Erin was a really healthy decision for me. It’s helped me build tools that make me more resilient and better to the people around me.
I’ve been working with Erin for over a year and she’s really helped me make progress. Seeing patterns, working on solutions and getting to a place where all the things I’ve worked on are showing up and making life a little easier even on really hard days.
I was with Erin for about 3 years and I have decided to stop simply because I'm happy and feel I have accomplished what I set out to do. My life is in a good place and I feel capable of managing things myself. Erin was with me through the entire process and I'm very grateful for her council, patience, understanding, insight, observations, and kindness. I will miss her. I can highly recommend her and if something pops up again I’ll be back. Thank you again Erin!
Erin is very interested in me and my life. She offers me the support and info I need to help me through tough times. I would highly recommend her.
I have been working with Erin for a few months. It’s my first time in individual counseling and I’m still feeling my way through what I need but Erin has an ability to dig under the surface of what is currently going on. She pinpoints what is at the root of some of my complaints and points me to resources that are within my skill sets so in a short time I feel she has been listening to me and paying attention. Her harder questions get me thinking in ways I haven’t before. I appreciate her support.
Dr. Foley listens and shares fantastic insights and provides a solid perspective that I often did not think of.
Erin has been incredibly helpful and I’m so grateful for the experiences I’ve had along with the growth. Thank you.
Erin was excellent. She always had an open ear and was very friendly.
I worked with Erin for about a year. She was always attentive. Erin would rephrase the things I had said back to make sure she understood correctly, but it also helped me see that she was listening entirely. That made a huge difference for me. Ask her about the worksheets !
Erin has provided excellent support surrounding learning new parenting skills, navigating divorce, and coping with the pandemic. The more sessions we have, the more helpful her help has become. Even over the phone, I feel we have developed a helpful relationship.
Erin has helped me to ground myself through this pandemic. She listens with compassion and asks good questions to keep the session flowing while allowing the space to process. She gave me helpful information via the chat box as well, and was quick to respond when I had an urgent need. I highly recommend Erin and would happily return to her if I needed to again.
Erin is great at identifying the nugget of what I’m working through and helping me see it clearly. I respect her and her feedback and trust her to help me work on myself.
I decided to begin virtual counseling after six weeks of social isolation. I’ve had lots of counseling over the years as I’ve gone through transitions and I am impressed with how Erin connects with me via video chat and really helps guide me through emotions I’m having difficulty navigating and understanding. She is good at asking questions that help me view things from a different perspective which has been very helpful. She is insightful and a respectful listener. I feel seen and heard in a very isolating time in the world and my community.
She’s amazing. Lean in.
