I often say, "Therapists are not a one size fits all," and that it can be difficult to find a therapist that suits your needs, let alone choose the right therapist by reading a description of them.
If you're like me and enjoy the facts, here are mine: I graduated from Monmouth University with a Masters of Science in Mental and Clinical Health Counseling. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in three states as well as, a Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the state of New Jersey. I also am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), HIV Certified Counselor, and Disaster Response Crisis Counselor (DRCC). I have about ten years of experience working in various levels of care with mental health, substance abuse, and dual diagnosis clients.
During sessions I utilize primarily cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy however, I believe that each client is unique and tailor my approach to be client centered. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and enjoy utilizing EMDR skills in session. I focus on finding solutions, building strengths, and improving negative thought patterns. The therapeutic process can be overwhelming, but I pride myself on working side by side with my clients every step of the way and being an extremely strong advocate for each client.
My passion for helping humans developed at an early age and only continued to grow as I observed people around me struggle with various issues in life. Over my years in the mental health and substance abuse industry, I have noticed a pattern. It has occurred to me that the stressors of every day life have become unmanageable for human beings and people have forgotten that, “We repeat what we do not repair.” In a world that is constantly changing, lets work together to make changes to improve yourself and your life.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I love Jessica. She has helped me so much
Jessica has proven to be just the real-talk and empathetic person I needed to help me. I feel very lucky to be matched with her.
Jessica is fantastic and profoundly helpful. Its easy to see that she is passionate about her work. She helped me see things from different perspectives. Her advice is not only effective but practical.
she’s phenomenal
Jessica has an incredibly warm spirit! She's very down to earth, easy to talk to, and very genuine! She understands my thoughts & feelings, and provides thought provoking questions for me to think about/journal throughout the week. She is a great therapist who I am incredibly comfortable trusting for guidance & growth! I love her! ❤️
I have been working with Jessica for about a month and a half now. She is great! She listens to me and gives me great feedback!
Jessica has helped me find strength in my abilities to get through situations. I thank you for helping me get through my past hurdles and focus my time and energy on the present and future goals. She helped me keep on moving when I felt like my life was stagnant!
Finding Jessica to be exceptionally respectful/responsive to my needs from the onset of our work together. I have full confidence/faith in knowing that Jessica will provide the support I've been unable to find in the past.
Jessica is amazing. She is very attentive to each thing I mention during our chats and sessions. She is available and responds quickly. We talk about 5 days a week. And she just really tries to understand the core of what I am telling her. We work through things together and she gives me plenty of exercises to do so. I attribute these things, in addition to my efforts, to the significant amount of progress I have made in the past 5-6 months with Jessica!
I have been in some form of therapy for over 20 years. Over the course of that time I’ve seen more therapists than Charlie Sheen has had 1st dates. Jessica listens, digests what’s heard, understands and then responds. Her responses and approach to therapy is nothing like I’ve ever experienced. Her therapeutic structure is based on my past, current situation, future goals...and most importantly my personality. It is in BetterHelp’s best interest to do whatever needs to be done to ensure she maintains her role as a therapist under your platform. If that becomes the case you’re not only going to be a 1 therapist short, but you will lose a true benefit which BetterHelp currently offers.
Jessica is great.
Jessica helped me stay focused while I felt my world was falling apart around me. She has a great approach that I really appreciated. It felt like she met me where I was and maneuvered me to see what I needed to address.
Jessica has great insight into making positive changes, and my life has improved substantially. Would recommend.
Jessica is very attentive and personable during our sessions. I was nervous with doing therapy over the phone but it has been really helpful.
Jessica is one of the better counselors I've had in a long time. She really listens to all of my concerns, doesn't brush anything over and offers great insight. I feel like I can relate and open up to her very well. Jessica has taken her time to get to know me and my background before delving into more specific issues, which I value tremendously as I feel it has benefited our sessions significantly. I'm super thankful to have her as my counselor!
Conversations with her have been extremely helpful at a time when I badly needed to support myself.
