My treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Biopsychosocial Spritual, Problem Solving, and Systems Theory, but I use an ecclectic, individualized approach based on where you are in life and what direction you wish to take. I like to use very practical ways to address obstacles that are keeping you from the peace you seek. This often includes learning new relaxation techniques, use of resources like worksheets and websites, and proactive approaches to stress and problem prevention.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She has been very instrumental in helping me create a more balance home life with the talks we have around self, marriage, parenting, and being a working mom. Mary has been so intentional in listening; and also very helpful with providing resources, sharing tips, and inspiring self-reflection. I really appreciate her counseling services and highly recommend her! Thank you Mary.
Great therapist.
Mary is the best therapist I’ve ever had through the years. From the start she was quick to adapt so that we got the most out of the therapy: She is kind, a good listener, but is still confident on her take on things, which is exactly what I need. Her experience also shows, and she is confident in what she does, so I would warmly recommend her.
Mary is attuned, receptive to feedback, adaptive, thoughtful, quick on her feet in session and out. Really appreciate Mary's clear expertise and many years of expertise.
Mary is the first of 3 counselors I have met with on BetterHelp who I feel really, really cares about me, and has great advice. Mary is just WONDERFUL. She has helped me sort out all my major issues with no judgements, and she genuinely cares how I am doing. All through my life, I have valued therapy, and I go when I know I don’t have the tools to deal with what is going on in my life. I honestly think Mary is the best of all the counselors I have had in the past 24 yrs. She is genuine, caring, courteous, non-judgmental, has given me a lot of helpful tips / tools to use and remember that are life-changing, she has a great sense of humor, and a genuinely great mind, heart, and spirit. She is a great therapist, but also feels a little like the wise sister I always wanted, but didn’t have. I am very thankful God assigned her to me when I was about to give up.
Mary is an absolutely wonderful counselor who is patient kind and provides the tools I need. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. She is extremely flexible and understanding.
Mary has been very helpful in helping me toward my goal of a happier, less anxious life. She's helped me to understand the impact and lingering effects of past difficulties on my mind and body and shared many great ideas for healing that damage. It's been less than three months but I feel like I am making good progress. She is very knowledgeable and has the wisdom that comes with some experience. Highly recommend!
Mary helps me a lot with day to day stresses that could become anxiety attacks or depression. She also suggests ways to deal when she cant be reached (which isn't often) she is quick to respond, has good availability for scheduling appointments and you can tell she genuinely cares.
Mary Sudduth has helped me in just the short time I've been chatting with her. She's got me taking on new behaviors to replace old, bad behaviors. She is kind and caring, and always a pleasure to chat to.
Mary has been supportive and understanding. I didn’t feel that she judged me, just gave me options for dealing with my issues. I think I may have been somewhat contradictory with some of the things I may have told her, but she has responded according to what I have said, not how I’ve said it. She has helped me enormously with encouragement and advices without giving opinions.
She is in tune with what I am saying and giving me space to adjust to information.
So far so good, has been very helpful so far :)
