I am very pleased with my time with Jessica. She has been quite helpful in assisting me as I deal with various issues. She prescribes various methodologies that force me to better understand and accept my situation. We have worked through numerous worksheets which have been helpful to me in creating habits to reduce and minimize the tendencies I have to worry and stress. Jessica is resourceful, patient, and understands my situation and how to help remedy. Her feedback is candid, and she increasingly has challenged me to meet my goals and deal with my situation. I would recommend her to most anyone in my type of situation.

Jessica continues to do an excellent job of providing tools which, when used consistently, provide guidance and direction in dealing with issues I have (anxiety, stress, a feeling of not being able to control things, etc.). I have learned a great deal in working with Jessica. I am increasingly better at recognizing situations and dealing with them. Jessica is patient, and she listens to the issues, and responds accordingly. I have asked Jessica to hold me more accountable, where possible, to reaching my goals. We have recently revisited my original goals and are tweaking them to ensure progress in the weeks ahead. I appreciate Jessica's demeanor and her desire to understand the issues before prematurely coming up with an "answer". Jessica has been of great help to me. She has done a good job of retaining a great deal of background information that resurfaces over time, which Jessica is able to tie together.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Reviewed August 2021

Jessica has worked hard to understand the myriad of emotions, issues, thoughts, challenges and aspirations I have. She listens very well, is patient and responds in kind with various ideas, forms, homework, all of which have, over time, helped my situation. Although there was, in the very beginning, concern that Jessica was not "seasoned" enough (based on perceived age difference), Jessica has demonstrated great capability, and has been able to respond to every issue raised, regardless of age. Jessica I think has been very good about bringing up things I have mentioned previously -- it is sometimes a fact raised or a discussion that took place between us months ago; but Jessica remembers and either draws back to, or applies these past lessons/conversations to what is taking place now. She does a good job of bringing up past tools, to reinforce their importance to learn (e.g., tools to instill mindfulness). Jessica is a very positive person which is very helpful; and yet Jessica freely discusses feelings that run the spectrum of emotion. And she takes the approach that all of us, in our own way, "feel this way" sometimes. I am very pleased with Jessica's approach and what we have accomplished so far. I know I have to do more of the "heavy lifting" when it comes to better dealing with my issues and challenges; but Jessica is there to provide the tools, guidance, and support needed. I appreciate her efforts and insights. I like her style of listening and suggesting as a colleague, rather than dictating solutions because she knows better. I am very pleased with Jessica’s performance and appreciate her efforts to help me.
