Have you been living the same script with different cast members? Do you want to overcome life's most complicating situations? Are you on a quest to get to know yourself better? Do you want to make your wildest dreams a reality?

I am a thirty-something Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am bicoastal- residing in Los Angeles for the last few months; however, my roots are on the East Coast. I am licensed to provide therapy to those residing in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy and over the last 5+ years, I have worked with adults and teens who have overcome various traumas including identity/self-esteem, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and relational issues.

Life's most precious gifts are often on the other side of our comfort zone.

How do I know? Because therapy changed MY life! Several years ago, after a series of life-changing events, my mental health suffered drastically. I put it off at first but once I sought my own help, it was like a light came on. I started seeing things in a completely new way. So much so that I decided to help others.

Finding the right therapist is the first step to changing your life course and I am pleased to know that you are taking these important steps. I look forward to engaging with you if you have an interest. Let's start healing!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I had dealt with depression and anxiety for so long. After starting therapy with Tashia, I finally feel like my true self and I will forever be grateful for her listening ear, consistency, dedication, and her assistance through dealing with all the hurdles. After 5 months of therapy with her, I can definitely say that this was the best thing I ever did for myself. Tashia is amazing and she helps you perceive life through a different angle. I’m so glad I had her.

To say I’m sad to be ending my time with Tashia is an understatement. For 9 months she’s been assisting me through the ups and downs of life. I don’t think I would have come out as level headed as I am without her. She listens and responds with such grace. She allows you to speak and she assures you that she hears and understands. And if you’re the texting type, she’ll meet you there with paragraphs to match yours! So versatile and adaptable. I have enjoyed every session and conversation. I’ll miss ya but I thank you for your words of wisdom and professional guidance and two finger taps!

I recently lost my fiancee and decided that grief counseling would help me navigate my grief better. I was apprehensive at the beginning because I don't do well with overly structured therapy sessions. Tashia not only listens to your concerns and repeats your words to try to get you to look at them in another way but she also brings a sense of comfort into our conversations. I don't feel like I am in therapy I feel like I am speaking to a wise friend who is guiding me through a very difficult point in my life.

Tashia Is a wonderful counselor. She’s a great listener, thought partner, and really has helped me put a lot of things into perspective. Sometimes it’s just helping me look at an issue in a different way or from a different angle that really allows me to move forward.

I’ve gained so much clarity over the last few months with Tashia. Utilizing the chat box often I can write out what I feel as I feel it, sometimes sending multiple messages a day and she makes sure she responds to every point and even picks out my own words and quotes me - I love that. I feel heard and like I’m getting sound advice and feedback. As I continue to transition I look forward to how she will assist me.
