I have to say that I am very pleased with tahreer. It is very reassuring that she makes herself readily available if you ever need to talk about anything. As a therapist, she is more than qualified to deal with whatever life is throwing at you. But she really excels as a person. She's super easy to talk to and really listens when you need it. On a side note, I also am very appreciative of the advice given from another new parent. I honestly don't know how she could do all the therapy she does AND mother a child, on top of all the regular things she has to do in everyday life. Much respect.

My approach to therapy is based on the conviction that our current behaviors are a function of our system and relationships with others. I try to learn from my client's experiences to develop a better understanding of who they are, how they developed their sense of self, their worldview, and behavior. Together, I believe we can identify and overcome the obstacles that prevent you from living the life you desire. I customize my extensive training to best suit your healing and goals. I combine cognitive behavioral and experiential techniques in working with individuals and couple. I approach counseling from a systemic view point and incorporate CBT and solution-focused perspective with the focus on helping clients create solutions to problems they may face. I cannot recommend Tahreer highly enough. I had never gone through therapy before so I was initially hesitant but after my first session with her I felt like I made the right choice. It felt very easy to talk to her. If you’re on the fence about therapy I would suggest signing up for some sessions with Tahreer to see if it’s the right fit.
I've been in therapy with Tahreer for over a year and I am constantly amazed with my progress. You'd be very lucky to have Tahreer as your counsellor. I can't thank her enough for patiently walking me through my mind and helping me see myself and my life clearly.
