Jacqueline intently listens to me and gives me real life tools and feedback to deal with my issues. She holds me accountable and doesn't sugar coat what I need to hear and heal from. She allows me to process my feelings and establish a solid ground to stand on and work from. She is the first therapist that truly has given me tangible results and I highly recommend her.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Jacqueline Rafter is an awesome therapist who impressed me from our initial meeting. She doesn't shy away from telling the hard truth, creating a supportive and honest environment for personal growth.
Jacqueline was so personable and friendly. We clicked right away! She was easy to talk to!
I always feel confident after our meetings. Jacqueline gives great insight on stressful situations and shows me how to see through the problems with optimism.
Excellent.
Jacqueline is very supportive, a great listener, direct and thoughtful with her feedback, a good teacher with a great sense of humor. Really enjoyed working with her for 6 months!!
I have been with Jacqueline for a year now she is doing a great job, she knows what she's talking about, always helpful, respectful and honest.
She is kind, a great listener, and more than able to understand my needs. She as identified the primary issues and we are working on that currently. I feel more impowered and able to at lease deal with the concept of my base issue.
Jacqueline doesn't tell me what I want to hear—she tells me exactly what I NEED to hear, which I so greatly appreciate. She helped me get to the root of all the things that have been on my mind the past few weeks and has been wonderful to speak to!
Very helpful, I like that she reaches more people through both secular and Christian perspectives!
Jacqueline is a fantastic therapist. She uses a variety of techniques and seems to be a wealth of knowledge about the human condition and psyche. She is attentive and a strong advocate and is both a guide and a great listener. I really appreciate the work she is doing with me and would definitely recommend her to others!
I love how she gets right to the point and doesn't waist time discussing things that don't matter
She’s amazing. For someone who likes a therapist who gives you something to DO, as well as insight, she’s a gem.
Very understanding and honest. Shows interest and concern when needed. Very kind and helpful.
She has helped me a lot !
She is wonderful! Through her firm yet kindly guidance, I feel supported and have grown so tremendously. She has a sense of humor that I love and is keenly sensitive to my needs. I am amazed at my rapid progress from the onset. I look forward to our sessions. I highly recommend her!
I have been working with Jacqueline for almost a year now, and I can't be more grateful. She expects tough answers to tough questions, but is also compassionate and understanding. She challenges me in the ways I need, and never really thought about. I'm so grateful to be working with her.
Trying therapy for the second time (first time with my primary health insurance) and I can definitely say, I’m thankful for coming across this app but especially having Jacqueline as my therapist. Knowing that she was selected for my needs was a breath of fresh air. Previously, I was just assigned to anyone with my insurance. Jacqueline is warm hearted, stern, and understanding. I look forward to our session because I know I’ll leave with answers, tools, and most important confidence.
Jacqueline understands who I am and how I struggle, she's compassionate, but isn't easy on me, and definitely asks me to step up and be accountable for my progress.
I have been going to in-person therapy with multiple therapists for the past 10+ years. After only 2 sessions so far with Jacqueline, I already feel like more progress has been made to address my underlying needs than with all of my previous therapists. I am very hopeful for the results I will have as I continue working with her.
Jacquline Rafter is the best therapist I’ve had! I tried a few different ones before I was matched with her, but none of them helped or understood like she does and she helps me through all the tough situations I’ve been through. Thank you Jacqueline!
Jacquelin is the first therapist that I have had that gets to the heart of the matter so quickly. Wow! I feel we got so much done in our first session. I highly recommend her!
I love working with Jacqueline. She is a great listener and advisor who provides a range of techniques for managing everyday as well as deep-seated challenges from professional to personal. I appreciate her casual communication style that helps conversation flow, plus she gives really thoughtful insights throughout our discussions while prompting deeper thought and solution-based mentality. It's been great working with her! I can see a difference in my life.
Jacqueline has been wonderful to work with. I was very hesitant in starting therapy, but I am so happy I did-and thankful she was paired with me. She makes me feel comfortable and knows when I may need to pause to collect myself during a session.
Working with Jacqueline has been life-changing, she has helped me develop the tools I need to manage my anxiety and set healthy boundaries with the people in my life. She's compassionate and helpful, but also asks me to do my work as well.
We just had one session but I already feel comfortable enough to be completely transparent
she has been remarkable. I have had other therapists in the past, none have been able to help me break barriers. I am only quitting thearpy temporary due to financial difficulties. I have every intention of coming back and I want to be re assigned to her.
Jacqueline is a great counselor. Being a client of hers it is evident she is invested and knowledgeable about the mental health field in various ways. I have had experiences with other counselors who sit quietly and listen, and don't offer much of an opinion or solution. Jacqueline can sit and listen if you ask, but when having a conversation she is knowledgeable in her responses and actually gives solid advice, solutions, and methods to go about an issue.
Jaqueline has provided me with a great first experience in therapy. She is firm with her beliefs but also kind and funny, and we were able to reach productive solutions in and efficient amount of time. I highly recommend her!
She's excellent!!!
Struggling? Taking forever to work through issues with therapists? I recommend Jacqueline Rafter. She makes sure our sessions are productive and focused on achieving the goals I set for therapy. Feels like she helps me get more done in a week than other therapists did in 2 months.
Jaqueline has been very helpful in managing many of life’s stresses for myself as a whole, and a wife/mother. I am more able to deal with difficult tasks because of her support.
Jacqueline has helped me process grief, big emotions, and is an excellent parenting guide. I immediately felt at ease with her. She is patient, and also quick to address what needs addressing. I feel heard and understood. I feel she is cheering me on and truly wants what is best for me. I have had an absolute lovely experience with her as my therapist and have already raved about her support to family and friends.
Wonderful at listening and gave great feedback.
Jacqueline has provided me with tools and space to air out. She created a very safe place right from the beginning and has maintained that as I have tested the waters and started really sharing whats going on. Therapy is a big step and it takes time to find comfort with your therapist. She has been amazing for me from day one and I see nothing but happiness and great things in my future, no matter the challenges it presents.
Jacqueline has been responsive and supportive. She offers sound counsel and provides solid suggestions. She also does a great job at helping me see and understand what I’m going through while providing plenty of validation and occasionally challenging me. She’s been very helpful and I’m glad to know I have support when I need it.
Provided a great listening ear, no unfair judgement was made about my thoughts or feelings. I felt lighter in some sense after each session.
Jacqueline demonstrates competency and compassion—she knows her stuff and cares about you. She has been helpful to me in explicit and implicit ways. As a person who lives with a quiet whisper of discontent (or, sometimes, a loud cacophonous roar of self-critical abasement, anxiety, probably depression, and overall dissatisfaction), I have benefitted immensely from her demeanor and strategies. Jacqueline helps me target what I’m thinking and feeling (and why), and she helps me work through it. I started talking to her right at the end of a difficult 10-week period during which I had returned to secondary education in a challenging district (as a result of running away from personal and professional issues I didn’t want to face in my last job—attractive, eh?). I was at my wit’s end, to be honest, and was having a hard time functioning. She has been monumentally helpful to me in figuring out strategies to live and work by. Without telling me this directly, she helped me see that my “neuroses”—if we can still use that very accurate term—is in large part derived from poor choices in thinking and acting. Millennia ago, the Greeks knew that we could not separate the private from the public, that character matters, and that we often feel bad because we think and act bad. Jacqueline has been instrumental in helping me rediscover this universal natural law. She also calls me on my BS, doesn’t let me just go down rabbit trails for the sake of avoiding pain, and otherwise asks helpful questions. She’s a good therapist, and I appreciate her.
I’ve had only a couple of sessions with Jacqueline but she has already helped me to understand some things that have been deeply rooted within me for years, and given me tools to feel better about them. I’m really grateful for the talks that we have had already and am excited to continue working with her.
I was stubborn coming into therapy and pretty firmly believed I didn't need it but simply talking to her the first time she uncapped emotions I kept bottled up and made me want to help myself. I couldn't imagine anyone better to help people.
Jacqueline is amazing. I was hesitant when I signed up, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But she has surpassed all expectations and I am so glad I took the first step and got started. I was feeling better after my first session and everyone since has built upon that. I will recommend her and this service to everyone I know!
Jacqueline has been a lifesaver at a critical juncture in my life. She is responsive, empathetic, generous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Her sound advice and listening ear have laid the foundation for a major shift in my life and relationships. With her help, I am coming to terms with past trauma and seeing myself and those I love in a new light. Highly recommended.
Jacqueline is kind, fair and thoughtful. She has been an immense help to me and I am grateful to have her counsel.
Love her ❤️
Jacqueline listens and offers suggestions.
I have been in one session—the initial—with Jacqueline. She was direct and resolute but compassionate, empathetic, and helpful. I had tried in-person therapy once before. The commitment by BetterHelp and Jacqueline exceeds my experience with in-person therapy. The focus on goals and background information plus the assignments, follow-up, and accountability are much more significant than with in-person therapy. I would rate my initial experience with BetterHelp and Jacqueline as very positive.
