Erica has completely changed how I feel about therapy. I used to be quite scared of opening up and letting myself be vulnerable but with Erica I have always felt safe and listened to. She creates a supportive, kind environment where she listens attentively, remembers what you have said but is also prepared to challenge you when you need it the most. Could not recommend her more.

I believe in the power of therapy to help heal, restore, and encourage a greater understanding of ourselves and our stories. I believe that everyone has the potential to change and improve with encouragement, accountability, and support. I meet clients exactly where they are in their unique journey and help them focus and build on their strengths while working through their challenges.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with almost 20 years of experience working with individuals and groups of all ages. Currently my focus has been treating those who struggle with anxiety, depression, illness, self-esteem, trauma, parenting, relationship issues, family conflicts, and coping with their other life challenges.

When not working, I love to spend time with my family (including my husband, 4 sons, & our german shepherd), read, color, write, listen to music, and explore parks.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Erica gives me the opportunity to get everything off my mind. She doesn’t make me feel judged nor silly for explaining the way I feel. She truly makes me feel normal when I feel so upside down inside out with my emotions. She has taught me different coping mechanisms that I never learned from therapy before.

Erica is kind, compassionate, and listens without judging. I have recommended her services to several close friends and family members!

I was so anti counseling. But Erica really makes me feel like I’m just talking to a friend. She has helped me really get over my issues with therapists. I had such a bad experience a long time ago and I never went back. But the last several months were so bad I was worried about me. So I tried better help. I’m so glad I did. I can’t believe how much it helps.

I have been talking with Erica for the past 5 months and she has been a huge help in my mental health journey. I am extremely grateful that I crossed paths with her and I highly recommend her as a therapist. She is an incredible listener and gives awesome advice. Thank you so much for what you’ve done for me. You are amazing, Erica.

I am so glad that I was paired with Erica as a counselor. She really seems to get me and is very supportive as well as caring. We are only two sessions and two hours invested but I feel as if we have known each other for much longer based on how we connect. She respects me which is something I have had to contend with in my marital relationship for which I have sought counsel. This makes me feel good to just relate to someone and share my heart. She has been my "safe place". I believe God has placed her in my path to encourage me in this season of my life with her helpful counseling and kindness towards me. Erica is top of the class in her craft if you ask me and I would recommend her 100x's over.
