Amanda has been extremely helpful with the sessions she and I have had. She gives great insight, shows great patience, and is able to make me think deeply about my jumbled rambling. I'd highly suggest anyone give Amanda a chance to help you through the noise in your life or even uncover a few insights that you can't quite put words to. She has been a great partner to me about my stress and life changes.

Amanda was the first counselor to acknowledge when I was "on" in our sessions. As someone who has been in and out of counseling since I was about 6 or 7 (and the family comedian since I was 4), I can tell, fairly quickly, when/ if someone is going to guide me to grow or refine my comedic abilities to use later. Amanda asks questions and challenges my line of thinking in a way that I have never experienced before, which, in turn, helps me in my day-to-day life. I appreciate her direct way of speaking to me, yes as my counselor, but also as the rational friend who can ground me when I am giving into my more impulsive or "ineffective" behaviors. I talk a lot. Some would say "too much,"(an ADHD blessing and curse) I appreciate that Amanda gives me the room to, at times, answer my own questions or close the circle on a thought that I've been ruminating over. All the while, redirecting my line of thinking when I need it, because ya girl can go off on some tangents. She helped me navigate one of the worst best years of my life, helped me prioritize myself, inspired me to write more, and understood me on a deeper level than a lot of other counselors I have known. I am so thankful for Better Help, and Amanda. I can not say thank you enough.
