I love what I do, and I know why I do it. Since 2007 my focus has been coming along side of people and assisting them with challenges they face in life to become the most authentic and genuine person they were meant to be. In my own journey I've come to accept and appreciate the gifts I've been given, even if they're seemingly unrelated. I love my work as a therapist and I will always be passionate about performing music. How the two coexist within me is the journey I'm on. My focus has been in becoming a better therapist each day ... but I also know I'll never stop playing guitar and performing music, it's part of who I am. I have been singing and playing guitar forever.

I have worked with a variety of people, with a variety of personal struggles, and a variety of ages. I am very passionate about understanding and helping people with the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, distressful emotions, and broken relationships. I believe that we all have inherent value, and I strive to truly understand my clients and give all of them the respect and honesty they deserve.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

A.X.·Feb 2022

Tom was an incredible help at both diagnosing my panic attacks and helping me understand my anxiety. He gave me amazing tools to get better control of my anxiety, tools to handle panic attacks, and tools to keep them away. He was great at recognizing what methods worked best on me and pursuing those. He went into depth on the science side of how the brain works, which I really needed. He was really knowledgeable and understanding and I could not recommend him more!

He really listened to my concerns, always provided great feedback, and gently pushed me to put in the work when I really needed it.
