You’re convinced that life can be better, but you feel stuck. You’ve tried everything you can think of to change, and you’re looking for a fresh approach.
I deal in encouragement. No gimmicks. I give you a fresh set of ears to hear what’s not working and help you find what will.
I’m trained in several therapeutic disciplines, including solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, family systems, Gottman, Adlerian, and others that fit your needs. With all that said, we’ll find what works for you.
In addition to my therapeutic experience, I had a 15-year career in the corporate world in communications and public relations. I am a licensed professional counselor with a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Texas A&M University. I am a husband and father and understand from the inside what individuals, couples and families are seeking.
listening ears, encouragement, and experience helping people find solutions is what I would like to share with you. I’ll tell you a secret: Solutions you’re looking for will most likely come from inside you. Also, my Seeing Eye dog, Abbott, is usually good for a laugh when he
occasionally snores. Let’s talk and see if we can find what you’re hunting for.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Lannie is so way to talk to. He is insightful and extremely helpful in recommendations and plans to help you with all your stressors. He listens, is caring and always makes you feel heard. He teaches you new strategies to cope with whatever is your plate. I look forward to speaking to him weekly because I always feel better afterwards.
Absolutely the best in Lannie !!
Lannie is an incredible listener and offers so much insight. He’s compassionate and extremely helpful in his guidance. He offers a variety of approaches and knows which suits both you and the situation best. Before I actually started therapy, I dreaded the idea of it, but after speaking with Lannie from that very first appointment, I look forward to every session now because I know I’m going to feel better, lighter, more in control and more confident to handle all my situations. Lannie is an absolutely amazing therapist. I’m so fortunate and grateful that BetterHelp matched me with Lannie.
Absolutely phenomenal counselor .
I am thankful for my Lannie and the difference he makes in our life.
Lannie is an amazing listener. He is fantastic at offering suggestions and varying approaches to aid in the situations discussed and is very respectful of asking if the suggestions are something I’d be comfortable with. Very good at making sure the help and suggestions provided can actually be useful in reality and able to carry out. He supplies several helpful worksheets to work through things and is wonderful at responding in a timely manner. His demeanour and approach is calming and very helpful to move through discussions and make progress. I couldn’t say enough good things about Lannie.
Lannie Cox is by far the best counselor I have had in over 20 years. I can not say enough good things about him. He goes above and beyond and is truly amazing .
He is helping me tremendously
Lannie was a wonderful counselor to me. His positive mindset and obvious want to help others is truly inspiring. He helped me start my journey to self love and recovery, and you can’t put a price tag on that. Thank you.
I highly recommend Lannie. He’s caring engaging and is a great advocate to help you improve your life.
So far so good! All I can say is I felt confident after the first session! Newly married with a 6 month old and a general manager at a restaurant during these times. Lannie gets it! Happy Im here
Although just beginning therapy with Lannie, his demeanour and words are calming and insightful. I’m very much looking forward to working with him as he listens and seems to easily put me at ease just through written messages even. He’s very helpful and responds very quickly which in itself is very helpful.
Lannie is a fantastic therapist, although only been working together for 3 weeks, he has already got further into my issues than anyone i have had prior. he relates to how i feel, understands and gives me solutions to help
Lannie is so easy to talk to! He is friendly, kind, insightful and has helped me to come up with concrete ways to improve the areas of my life that I’ve struggled with for years. I feel comfortable expressing myself to him, and I feel like he truly hears and supports me.
Lannie is very helpful!
Lannie Cox is a wonderful counselor. He's a really kind, caring, patient and highly intelligent person. He gave me so much useful advice and really helped me a lot. I highly recommend him if you are looking for someone who can facilitate major change in your thinking and help you develop good habits to overcome your issues.
I have never been comfortable sharing intimate details about my life with a counselor. Lannie has changed my opinion on this matter. He listens intently and gives good advise or analogies, even when it might be tough to hear. I am better today in large part to Lannie and our sessions together.
Lannie always keeps track of how my week has made progress since the last time we talked. He’s great!
Lannie is great!
Lonnie has been an absolute Godsend to me in the time of the world going crazy. I have had many counselors over the years and am usually not very satisfied. I am very self aware and willing to work very hard. I do not just want a warm, fuzzy general counselor but need someone who is going to REALLY listen and that I respect, with very specific steps for me to take. I have been so pleased with Mr. Cox. He definitely knows what he is doing, as I know I am not the "dream patient". I would definitely recommend him.
I have already recommended this counseling service to two friends especially right now. It's perfect for those busy people who can have a preference of messaging, calling, etc. Great service!
