My style is eclectic. I incorporate multiple theories and models into our work together. I have completed training in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Attachment theory. I'm well-read, so I use other approaches in my work too, and like all counselors, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I can take a spiritual approach to our work when requested. I will incorporate nutrition and exercise into conversations as well when asked. My style is straight-forward and direct. I see our relationship as a partnership in a collaborative process. You know you, I know psychology. We work together to figure out what you might address to improve your life. My focus is on your strengths, and I work to empower you to see things differently to feel better.
I enjoy helping people with anxiety and depression. I work well with overachievers, intellectuals, and high-functioning or over-functioning individuals to help them find balance in their life overall. I understand addiction and how to support family members of a person with an addiction. I enjoy working with couples. I have completed the Gottman phase 1 training for Marriage Counseling. I like working with children and teens. I have experience working with schizophrenia, OCD, Selective Mutism, Hoarding, Bipolar, and chronic mental health diagnosis. I'm skilled in Parenting Concerns. I've worked as a mobile therapist with children and teens; I have experience supporting autism in male and female clients. I've also worked with children with Oppositional Defiant Disorder and ADD, and ADHD. I've also worked in crisis and inpatient mental health, but I think that online therapy is not for those who are in crisis.
I'm skilled and knowledgeable about supporting seniors, the disabled, and children with special needs. I own a small business that supports this population, www.ikorofwpa.com. I'm well versed in how to best support these areas. I understand caregiving and how hard it is to provide care can be. I know public programs for care, and I am considered an expert in care-related areas. I'm well versed in Alzheimer's and Dementia, and chronic health concerns.
I attended Carlow University and earned a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling after working in sales and marketing after 25 years in business. I'm well versed in career-related concerns and career transitions.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Very helpful and I always feel better after talking with her
My time with Patricia has been invaluable! She is great at getting to the heart of what's going on and providing resources to help. She is friendly and compassionate, always responds to my messages in a timely manner, and is just an all-around great person to talk to! I can't recommend her enough!
Loved dealing with Patricia, she’s very supportive and understanding to my situation and circumstances... she’s helping me develop strategies to cope and move through my obstacles.. I would highly recommend her to anyone who’s struggling emotionally and spiritually and needs a friend who can ask for guidance and advice
I have experienced a journey and growth I will forever be thankful for. The work I put in enhances this but I know I could not have done this alone.
Pat really listens to me patiently. It feels like i am talking to a friend. Her guidance has always helped me and motivates me. Thank you for helping me

I like the way Patricia was able to assess my issues and needs. It helped me to quickly get on track to healing.
A deeply compassionate therapist with a holistic approach and an eye for detail. She is insightful and upbeat, able to call you out on your BS, but gentle all at once. I cannot recommend her enough.
It’s been great getting the help I need. I would recommend to anyone as it has given me the resources and clarity to my life as I navigate this complex and changing world.
Wonderful, really blunt and honest. Always gives me the truth that helps me move forward.
Patricia is the best therapist I have ever worked with. She is supportive and kind but not afraid to be honest when she feels my wellbeing is at stake. She doesn't judge me for my decisions. She finds ways to help me find hope and strength in extremely difficult situations. She doesn't shy away from the difficult and is steadfast and consistent in her care. I am grateful for her. Her wisdom is helping me get through a tough time I think may have leveled me without her.
I have been in counselling with Patricia for some time now She has been facilitating and helping me work through my issues She is incredibly well informed Incredibly attentive and shows sincere professional concern for me as a person.
