WELCOME to the platform! I thank you for learning more about me and my professional experience in counseling. First, let me congratulate your courage in seeking help. I am very proud of you. Life can be challenging sometimes--it just is!

Many emotions and states of being are completely normal in context to certain experiences —- depression, anxiety, hopelessness, frustration, confusion, and ambivalence. Still, you deserve to be happy and live your very BEST life! Let's see if we can work together and help you achieve your goals and explore your authentic self.

ABOUT ME: My name is Jacqui (pronounced

EDUCATION: I graduated with a Master's in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from a CACREP university. I am currently a doctoral candidate (Ph.D.) in Marriage & Family Therapy.

EXPERIENCE: I have many years of counseling experience with a wide range of mental and emotional health concerns such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, career confusion/ discontentment, addiction, sexual orientation/gender issues, marital discord, family conflict, unresolved trauma, grief/loss and overall life challenges/transitions that may get in the way of us living our best lives.

What this means... I approach issues, concerns, life events and the counseling process from a systems-based and strengths perspective that is attuned to "patterns of being" that may keep us stuck in our unwanted emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and experiences.

I believe in focusing on one's strengths while offering validation of feelings as we work toward desired goals---and challenging with direct honesty where necessary. In addition, I am an integrative therapist using modalities such as trauma-informed care, emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, reality therapy, Law of Attraction theory, positive psychology, and systems theory to name a few (this is not an exhaustive list).

Sound okay thus far? Well, let's talk so you can get on your way to healing, feeling better in life, and leaning into your authenticity!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I had a wonderful experience with Jacqui. In only a few sessions with her, I was able to make the life changing decision to leave my then abusive husband. I had tried many times for years before that and did not have the confidence and healthy self esteem to follow through. Jacqui reached me like no one else had been able to, with her warmth, ability to connect and her own life experiences. She gave me the confidence to believe that I deserved more in life. It has been almost 2 years and I really do have her to thank for living a life more full then I could have ever imagined before my sessions with her. Thank you Jacqui!

Jacqui is the human embodiment of warmth. She's seen me at my best and my worst but her voice and personality never fails to bring a smile to my face. When our session starts, I'm already feeling better. She has helped me in tangible ways and intangible ways through great transitions in life. She identifies strengths and areas that need work without judgment, and connects with you in a way that feels personal and meaningful. She doesn't sugar-coat when she needs to point out work that needs to be done, but she does it when I can take it and when I know I can do that work. I truly love that.

Jacqui Hayes is a wonderful counselor with a wealth of knowledge and experience to support her clients to be the best versions of themselves. She is adaptive, reassuring and gentle to the natural flows the experience of therapy can have. I can not recommend her highly enough as a counselor for all the support and guidance she provides.

Jacqui is amazing, and I'm so happy I didn't give up on therapy before I found her. She is warm, engaging, understanding, eloquent, and helpful. I immediately felt at home with her, like she was a long lost friend. She asks big questions that get to the core of my issues and helps me make sense of my mind. She listens and holds space for whatever comes up, and the exercises she sends are helpful. I'm very lucky to have her support.

Jacqui is a breath of fresh air, I'm grateful for being able to work with her a second time as her counseling style works perfectly for me. After each session, I feel like I'm able to walk away and successfully do the work that's needed. And she's the only person that can help get me together without the feeling of being chastised or judged like friends and family. I enjoy that we can laugh through our conversations it makes every thing easier.

Jacqui takes the time to listen thoroughly and allows space before she responds while in session, she is letting us come to the conclusions and helps to guide us to them.

I felt comfortable and safe with Jacqui almost immediately - in addition to having a calm approachability she knows what leading questions to ask to guide me in the right direction. Particularly with substance abuse issues - I've truly never had the success in sobriety AND recovery that I now have through working with Jacqui. Navigating sober life is scary and new but Jacqui gives me the guidance and confidence to know I can succeed.

Jacqui is incredible at delivering information and validating feelings. I am an extremely sensitive person and find it very hard to be vulnerable but she manages to balance the truthfully hard work of therapy with the ability to nurture and encourage.

Jacqui has such a calming presence. She is a wonderful listener and asks great questions that really make you reflect. In my short time with her I've learned her "do the work" approach has been so beneficial for me. She has a great way of asking the right questions that help you to see your thought patterns, and empowers you to not be a slave to them. I've been dealing with the same issues for 8 years and she was the first person to help me see not only my participation in it, she has changed the way I think about myself and my self worth. She provided the right homework, worksheets and videos that were so helpful to me. She is knowledgeable, professional and prepared. I would highly recommend Jacqui to anyone who is striving for a better version of themselves.
