ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Danielle and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Oregon and California. I have been working in the mental health field for 18 years. I have worked with individuals experiencing a variety of issues including family conflict, depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, communication challenges, self-esteem, and many more.

My choice to work in this field comes from my experience witnessing how people heal and flourish when understood, heard, and supported by a therapist. I have worked in many clinical settings from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to private practice. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Philosophy from San Francisco State University and my Graduate Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

I am compassionate, good listener, and respectful of each person's path toward healing and being the person they prefer to be. I will provide support, understanding, and useful suggestions. Please reach out if you would like to discuss my approach and your needs/goals.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
