I've only had a couple sessions with Amber Williams but each time I have walked away feeling better about the week ahead of me, or how to tackle a new problem. I think Amber takes her time to get to know the client, which I love. I never feel rushed, she listens and helps me come up with solutions and even provides tools after the sessions that I can use in my daily life. 10/10.

Hello! My name is Amber and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in several therapeutic settings to include outpatient clinical services, skilled living facilities, community mental health, and nonprofit healthcare services. I have also served clientele within the social services, law enforcement, and military communities ranging from foster care and adoption, criminal offenders and active duty members.

I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work at the University of Tennessee at Martin and my Masters degree in Social Work at Western Kentucky University. I am dual-licensed in Florida and Tennessee specializing in family conflict, relationship issues, domestic violence, anger management, depression, stress and anxiety.

I would best describe my approach as open and client centered. I encourage each client to play an active part in their treatment, through use of motivational interviewing, to encourage insight and self-empowerment. I also value the use of supports whether they be family, friends, professionals or helpful coping skills. Throughout my lifetime and professional career, I’ve found that mental health is always at the forefront of personal success. I’m happy to be a part of a profession that makes it okay to prioritize YOU first!

This is the first time I've stuck with therapy for longer than a few weeks and Amber has everything to do with it. She's an excellent listener, and gives advice that feels like it's coming from an experienced friend. She also pushes me just enough so that I make noticable progress in key areas, which gives me the positive feedback I need to keep chipping away at improving my mental health.

You are amazing and I am so happy I found you. You really take time to listen/read about what is going on with me and offer advice but also plenty of opportunities to self reflect. (Ps. My phone glitched when I started the form and it clicked that you dont respond in a timely manner and that is not TRUE. That is literally one of the many things I love about you!
