I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana. I have worked with clients experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues and Bipolar disorder. I have worked with clients in various settings such as teletherapy, in-home, community based, intensive substance abuse in corrections, and in an inpatient setting.
My preference of counseling style is in Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I see the relationship as mutual and the feedback from clients is important to the therapeutic relationship. Using this approach helps me to maintain a good therapeutic relationship throughout the course of treatment. Using a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy and Mindfulness I work with the client to develop a treatment plan that is specific to your needs.
I would love to help you in your next step of wholeness to find a more fulfilling life and I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Great professional partner. 100% satisfaction!!
She's the best!
Anquitra is a wonderful!!!
She is such a sweet person who is a great listener and will intervene when she feels its needed to give you homework to help you process conversations. I appreciate how she doesnt rush me and is more client paced. She allows you to guide the conversation but asks good questions to provide route for exploration if needed
With only 2 weeks of therapy, I was able to see a difference in my mood and confidence. She provides practical skills to cope with situations in life. I look forward to each therapy session. I highly recommend.
