I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. I have worked in the field for several years in different settings. I am an evidence based, problem/solution focused therapist. I have extensive experience in emergency services, crisis intervention, and suicide risk assessment. I work with individuals of all ages struggling with problems such as anxiety, depression, stress management, body image, self esteem, disordered eating, substance use, anger management, relationship / family conflicts, grief, and PTSD.
My professional background in working in emergency services, provides me with first hand knowledge of what it is like to experience vicarious trauma. I utilize that knowledge in helping others, such as law enforcement and first responders, develop healthy coping strategies and provide them a place to safely and openly discuss their experiences and struggles.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

So far Rebecca has been great!
Rebecca is very kind and supportive. She listens and offers solutions. There is no judgement and I believe she goes above and beyond to help.
I appreciate Becca and like how she challenges me to think differently about things. It’s not always easy for me to feel like someone is actually listening to me and wants to help me get through things and she has been able to help from our first session on. She is super easy to get in touch with and always very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend her!
