I am a Licensed Mental Heath Counselor in Massachusetts with over 15 years experience in the field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of issues, both in the community as well as inpatient . I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety disorders, anger management issues and family problems. I have also worked with clients with histories of trauma.
The style of counseling I prefer to utilize is really based on the person and the situation. I really don't believe in the one size fits all approach to counseling. I believe in treating everyone with empathy and respect and always giving my best efforts to help others find their way to their desired outcomes. some of the approaches that I use include cognitive behavioral, person centered, mindfulness and when needed reality therapy.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, if it sounds like a good fit I look forward to working with you, if not I wish you the very best in you search.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Martin is a great listener.
My experience with Martin Kane has been wonderful. I am not new to therapy but new to this format and I find it very effective. Journaling is very useful to log and share thoughts as they originate and the messaging feature keep me in touch to schedule or change appointments.
Great listener and asked good questions.
Very helpful and seems to know exactly what I need to become a better version of myself and have a better life the positive way. Soo worth it !
