Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Dr. Murati has been a lifesaver for me. As a man in my 50s, I never felt comfortable talking to much about my feelings but it came natural in a very beneficial way during a therapy sessions. I learned a lot about myself and I was shown many different techniques to assist me with my worries and issues. The techniques have been affective and my life has gotten better. Dr. Murati was a good listener and gave solid useful advice. I felt very protected when I spoke with her and felt confident that she was very attentive to my situation, and paid close attention to my needs from session to session. I highly recommend her and I am so grateful for her treatment.

She’s a fabulous listener and fabulous advisor, and I think I hit the jackpot with her. I enjoy our sessions and look forward to them. I was going to opt out of this after I signed up but before I met her, and I’m glad I didn’t.

I have tried to seek help from many therapists and I can say without a doubt that Dr. Murati is the best therapist I've ever met. She talks to me too so it doesn't feel as one sided, and understands and respects my beliefs, she listens well and always gives me helpful and encouraging advice. I would highly recommend her to others, albeit a bit hesitantly but only for the fear that she won't have enough time for me! Can't say enough good things about her, excellent person and all around amazing at her job. :)

She's a Kindred Spirit and is extremely supportive and has a deep understanding of how I'm feeling and always shows me ways to deal with my feelings, that hadn't occurred to me. So far, I have had great experiences with Dr. Murati. Dr. Murati listens to understand, and responds thoughtfully. I can tell that Dr. Murati is very experienced in her practice and field. Personally, I enjoy doing “homework” with materials (worksheets, book chapters) that Dr. M sends to me because it gives me more independent time to reflect on my experiences. I am looking forward to continuing my sessions with Dr. M.

Reviewed March 2022

She is AMAZING! She has helped me out so much in the last 2 months, and I can't express the gratitude I have for her enough. She completely understands what I'm going through, and has helped me remember who I am and what I'm worth. I owe her for the ability to move forward with my life instead of feeling like I am confined to where I was when I started talking to her.

Reviewed March 2022

I've only had a few sessions with Dr. Murati but she's done amazing exercises with me and already helped me find ways to work on improving my mentality and negativity. I would reccomend her and better health to anyone and everyone. Especially my fellow adhd brains where typical methods of therapy are very non adhd friendly, the chat/message features have been a key asset, allowing me to brain dump ahead of time and Dr. Murati to give me a kind word of encouragement and prep for our next session. Plus all the reminders via text and app notification! I honestly feel like I'm getting so much out of my sessions already. Again, betterhelp and Dr. Murati both, 10/10 would reccomend.

Reviewed January 2022

I've had a few different therapists before, and Dr. Murati is my favorite. She's been a great help when I have real issues in my life, but also helps me with general self-improvement. It has been very eye-opening, and I am in a much better place than when I started therapy!
