Karissa is patient and kind, and she asks me good questions to help me see a new perspective on things I find challenging. It's easy for me to see solutions for others, but not as easy for myself. She also has great advice, offering many resources to help me understand things like examples of normal treatment from others (normal responses in different types of relationships), and homework to find the root or theme in whatever is challenging me. She is always encouraging, never judgmental, and helps me to find solutions so I can focus on balance, growth, and wellbeing. She's great!

Karissa is great. I came to BetterHelp to try and tackle something specific- together we made great progress on this one issue, so much so that I felt and continue to feel comfortable working on all kinds of things. Karissa meets me where I am and does not patronize in any way- I've done loads of therapy over the years, I have a strong grasp of a lot of the basics, and I'm not here to hear about entry-level methods. Karissa heard and understood me when I said this, and has respected it since- Karissa trusted that I had done the learning I said I had, and it allowed us to skip a lot on the "ground floor" and get started with loftier work.
