Hi! My name is Tammy Maxwell. I am originally from Memphis, TN. I came to Missouri for school and over time, Missouri became my new home.
I have worked for several state facilities as well as non-for-profit agencies. Those jobs along with my education has prepared me to work with clients in a very clinical manner if that is what they desire. I chose to expand my abilities by opening my private practice. My private practice allows me to be there for my clients in a very unique manner, rather than focusing on paperwork.
I am trauma certified and use several modalities. I have the privilege of working with clients that have had many life challenges and I am grateful to have learned many counseling techniques that give me the ability to be down to earth while being helpful toward my clients.
