Hello, I'm Jaime. I am a licensed mental health counselor.

I have spent years working with those that experience high fluctuations in mood and mental stability. I have expertise in bi-polar disorder, major depressive disorder, and anxiety disorders. I specialize in diagnosing and recognizing slight changes in behavior and symptoms when it comes to mental illness. I have worked with very severe mental health disorders and take pride in helping others and their families navigate the journey to mental wellness.

I use a variety of techniques but mainly, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, narrative approaches, integrative modalities, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. I believe in working with your mind and body so no "one" therapy is chosen, I adapt your treatment according to what you need.

You can expect a gentle, warm spirit that is able to help you through the difficulties of life. My approach is strength based so I always start my therapy focusing on what strengths you have and how we can proceed by working on those while untangling life's complexities.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
