Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Pamela is awesome! Really thoughtful, wise and warm. Helped me simplify my issues and gave sound advice on how to approach things. Definitely recommend
Seasoned professional, compassionate. Solid knowledge of available resources and shares them.
She lives up to what I read about her, an exceptional healer gifted with a lot of experience and she is extremely inciteful. I really look forward to speaking with her again after each appointment.
Pamela is amazing. She takes her time to truly listen to everything you share. She asks appropriate probing questions, gives insightful strategies, and takes her time with you each session. After every session I’ve had she always leaves me with some sort of resource or strategy. This is helpful to be able to go back and review after our sessions. I would highly recommend Pamela to others.
Pamela is great. She allows me to talk through what I am going through.
Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much Pamela.
While we have only completed our first session, Pamela really listened and offered me some great strategies and worksheets that I can use outside of our time together. We related on multiple levels and I felt at ease with her warm and compassionate demeanor. I look forward to more sessions.

Pamela is great!
Pamela helped me to change the way I saw the world and now I feel a lot better because of that.
Best experience ever!
Pamela is a wonderful therapist. Right from the start she listened to my concerns and offered me guidance regarding how to better cope with and work through them. Additionally, she was very open to my feedback regarding which techniques worked best for me and was able to provide similar ones for other issues. Not only does she make you feel very relaxed but she is lovely to talk to. Would definitely recommend Pamela going to anyone considering seeking therapy.
Pamela makes me see things in a whole different perspective.
Pamela is very good at detecting what is actually going on - deep down, and thus, "action points" are more precise, and results come faster. Very helpful, thank you
She's really great and highly recommended for anything!
Truly helpful. After several years of severe alcohol abuse, Pamela was the first therapist that gave me the tools I need to stay sober. This has been a completely life changing experience
I like Pam as she has a nice way of talking about common issues and certainly has valuable experience. I do not doubt her competence level in the least. However our sessions so far were a bit all over the place and it didnt really seem structured like we are trying to figure out the issues to be able to work them out. There were very few questions from her side andthe tips she gave me, while surely accurate, didnt really seem to be specific but more along healthy living, eating and sports - which is an effective tool but not something I didnt already know. Again, this isnt intended at all to criticize Pam. I might have set my expectations for therapy way too high. This was my first try, now I try one more time with someone new and if thats not right for me either, I guess it wasnt meant to be.
Its too early to be specific but in general I am confident that my second session shall start giving me some kind of direction towards my objective. Also can give me better ideas regarding Pamela McGarry's competence level, dealing with my problems.
Pamela is so supportive, gives very constructive advice and suggestions, and seems to put a lot of thought into using therapeutic approaches that suit me.
Just in the first session I realized how all my priorities were focused on everything and everyone, except myself. Once I could turn those priorities inward, I was able to make huge steps to recovery.
Pamela presents her skills in a professional and gentle way that doesn’t make me feel like I’m speaking with someone I’ve never met. She connects on a level that’s comforting and understanding when presenting me with insight and guidance.
Pamela has been a wonderful therapist to me. She’s helped me through my moments in crisis and her advice has helped me gain new perspective. I would highly recommend her to anyone hoping to find someone who is a wonderful listener and supportive counselor.

Pamela has helped me with my work problems and other issues for more than three months now. Talking to her feels like talking to an understanding friend, but one who gives you clear guidance and deadlines. She accomodates different time zones very well, and I am always looking forward to my sessions. It only took about three sessions for me to feel much better and less anxious. Thank you Pamela.
