Regina has the unique ability of challenging weak logic and the experience that nothing you say to her is weird. I avoid super soft therapists like the plague, so I was happy when she informed me of her bluntness. It is evident that she cares and wants me to reach my goals, so I am pleased that we matched. If you're scanning reviews to make a decision, the topics she is helping me navigate are anxiety, relating emotionally to a spouse, sex (doesn't even raise a brow if unconventional), and being in the right space to make decisions. If you want to hit the ground running and are new to therapy, pick specific things you want to achieve ahead of time. I'm not that organized, so it's taken a few sessions to get that frame of reference. Some sessions are about getting it all out, some are about planning, and some are about listening. She challenges me to tell her what I feel, not what I think.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

My counseling sessions have been very goal-focused and helped me get out of a loop with my reactions to different life stressors. After a couple of sessions, it was clear how I needed to proceed to gain the clarity to make new choices, solve a problem and move forward..getting unstuck! I would highly recommend counseling in the comfort of your own home and on your own schedule.
