Hi my name is Jamie and I'm not your traditional mental health therapist. I have 30 plus years experience providing supportive counseling, crisis intervention and life coaching/encouragement in the setting of acute medical hospitals, nursing homes, and community physical rehab centers. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief/loss and life changes ( empty nest, divorce, retirement ). People experiencing physical /emotional abuse have also found my support helpful. I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Salem State University. My Master of Social Work degree is from Boston University. I have a Certificate of Clinical Gerontology from Boston College. I am licensed in MA ( LICSW ) NC ( LCSW ) NH ( LICSW ) ME ( LCSW ).
My counseling style is warm, caring and supportive. I meet my people where they are in their discomfort and together we identify the source of pain and we work together to find a solution. My approach is YOU focused. It is gentle and kind. I am a nurturer. I will listen to your story and together we will develop a plan that will lead you to a better place in your life. I will never lead you to a place you are not ready to go .
We live in a challenging world. Life is hard. I believe we all deserve to have peace of mind, feel motivated, and experience joy. This is not too much to ask for out of life. With my many years of experience I have helped people lessen their anxiety, improve their mood, move forward with difficult life decisions, improve the quality of their personal/work relationships and heal broken hearts. I would love the opportunity to offer my skills and compassion to help with your journey to a more peaceful, joy filled state of mind.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Jamie leads me -- and sometimes prods me -- to figure out what I must do. She is wonderful.
Jamie Haidinger is amazing! She is experienced, knowledgeable and highly effective. She gets results. With her gentle nature she guides me to the right solutions.
Jamie helped me through a difficult time after I was laid off from my job of 26 years. We talked through issues I had with my job loss as well as my relationship with my husband and my parents. It was helpful to work through the issues I was having and having an outside opinion on seeing what was going on was tremendously helpful. I would recommend Jamie as a therapist for anyone.
Jamie is a very engaging and empathetic therapist. She is easy to talk to while also providing appropriate guidance and helpful tips.
She’s great! Always knows the right thing to say and always suggesting ways for me to help myself!
I always look forward to my appointments
Jamie is honestly the best therapist I have ever had. Things aren’t overbearing, yet she makes everything ver purposeful. Things have been goal based, and when I look back on my notes I am able to see the progress when it comes to changing, and advancing in life. Her perspectives have been most helpful for me and the way I look at the world, and the people in it. She considers me.
Jamie has been so helpful and supportive. She gives advice and guidance and I appreciate it.
Jamie is wise and wonderful.
Jamie is an empathetic, knowledgeable, and thought provoking; everything you’d want in a therapist.
Jamie was extremely helpful and I was able to work out a lot of my emotions with her. I highly recommend!
Jamie has been nothing but helpful since I started working with her. I really feel heard and feel like I’ve found a safe place.
I have been to about 7 different therapists over the last 20 years and not a single one of them was even half as good as Jamie. Easily the best therapy experience I have personally ever had. She listens, asks thought provoking questions, and most importantly helps to solve any problems she can. I could not recommend Jamie enough to anyone looking for a new therapist.
Jamie is easily the best therapist I’ve ever had. She listens to all my concerns and problems and helps me resolve them.
Jamie is wonderful. She's so kind, personable, encouraging, and insightful. I'm so grateful to have found her as I navigate through a tough transition in my life.
She's amazing and I'm so happy to have found her. I don't dread therapy sessions with her like I have with other therapists I've had. It's really helpful to know someone who's understanding because we both have similar upbringings. She's not judgemental but can point out helpful ways to deal with it. It's a huge relief to find someone else like that.
Jaimie has helped me through breakups, addiction, self doubt, loneliness, and many things I’ve encountered over my years. Her insight is eye opening and makes me find solace in me emotions. She is wonderful
Jamie is great, listens and is responsive!
I have only had 2 sessions with Jamie, but I am very happy so far. She is very straight forward and understanding. She asks great questions and gives great feedback.
Jaime is great I appreciate that we have similar views and she understands where I'm coming from in a lot situations. It's helpful and gives me piece of mind.
Jamie is my first therapist ever. I never wanted to try out therapy but I am extremely happy that I did. Jamie is very understanding and easy to communicate with, I feel comfortable to express my emotions and concerns with her. It is nice to have someone to talk to that genuinely cares. Thanks so much Jamie!
I matched up with Jaime as my therapist via Betterhelp and it was the best gift I could ever receive in life. She has been a great source of support for the past year or more during a really challenging time in my life with stress and family issues. The support, guidance and care I received from her was exactly what I needed. I would have lost my mind during that time without her help. She saved me from going into dark places in my mind several times by just listening and caring. I’m so thankful for her. I’m at a place now where I feel more empowered and able to handle things as they come up. Thank you so much Jaime!
Jamie is the first, and best therapist I have ever had. She has helped me scale some pretty tough mountains consistently through the year. I am lucky to have her as my therapist. In retrospect she has helped me reach my goals, and conquer my fears.
Super Nice, Very Welcoming
I have gone to 6 different in person therapists throughout my life. Sometimes I stayed with them for a few years. Not a single one has even compared to Jamie. She is a phenomenal listener, always active engaging in what I have to say. She also approach issues in multiple different ways and never just lets me talk myself in circles, something I’ve always thought my past therapists have lacked. As someone who hadn’t gone to therapy in years and thought it was a lost cause, I could not recommend Jamie enough.
Jamie helps me break down my concerns into manageable pieces, so I can make step-by-step progress. In addition, if I start struggling between sessions, she responds promptly to in-app messaging. I'm very pleased.
We have a new professional relationship but we're laying the groundwork in getting to know each other and a sense of trust. I feel like she's got a great sense of feedback and I feel like that's what I need right now.
Jamie is absolutely amazing. Glad to be back
Jamie is great. She is patient, kind and highly competent.
She is excellent
Jamie is incredible and supportive! Offering insight and care every session!
Jaime was a great source of support during an acute time of stress and family crisis. She and the BetterHelp service allowed me to get immediate support that lasted as long as I needed it (in this case, our family has found a local program with tools and resources for all of us). Thank you to Jaime and BetterHelp!
I have been seeing Jamie for 2 months and I couldn't be more thrilled to have been matched with her. Jamie has a very compassionate approach and it has helped me tremendously seeing her.
Jamie was excellent she listened and gave great advice. I just need a counselor that I can meet with face to face.
Jaime has helped me a lot. She’s great at what she does
Ive only worked with her for a few weeks but her frist session before she even asked what was going on, she prioritized our time to give me tools to get through the next week. Week two was unload. This was so awesome. i feel it got me actual help 1 week sooner thn it would have, had i taken the conversation where i planned to for our first session
Jamie is the best! Great listener, understands, and responds quickly.
Jamie has listened, and understood me for a bout a year now, and I’m so thankful that she is my therapist. I am confident I’m speaking my mind with her without any fears. I may have hesitations but I always follow through with talking with her about any hardship that I am going through, to grow personally.
Jamie's awesome.
She’s truly kind, honest, and very genuine. We’ve conversing only for a limited time and she’s truly done wonders.
Jamie has been working with me for about 9 months now and I am so grateful to have such an amazing therapist to help me deal with the chaos of life!
She is very pleasant and caring
Jamie is a competent practitioner; she knows her stuff. She is kind, patient, helpful and delivers results.
Jamie is awesome! She responds super well to anything I have going on and is very attentive and supportive in working through issues and coming up with solutions. She is very interested in understanding the problem before coming up with a solution. She understands that there is not a one size fits all approach but instead offers a dynamic and complex but simple outlook.
I am very happy with the consistency that Jamie offers to me weekly. By way of her willingness to speak, and help me adjust to better ways of thinking and navigating scenarios, I deff can say that I have been growing from her guidance, and patience with me. I am very thankful.
Jamie has shown me a lot of compassion and empathy. We've had only two sessions, but I feel a connection. I would recommend her.
Thank you! Better than I was expecting!
Jamie came into my life during a particularly hard time in my life (traumatic car accident, severe depression/ptsd, sudden job loss) and I honestly would not have been able to function without her support and care. She is so relatable and easy to talk too, she has been my saving grace!
Jamie is amazing therapist. She has a lot of patience to listen and she makes wonderful notes, it means she is honest focused person on your problems. I don't get how I crossed my 45 minutes. I mean she really helped me to get overcome from my fear and grief after I lost an important person of my life. I highly recommend to her. She also explains that how to treat yourself with nature. I love her counselling session.
Jaime is a great listener and very compassionate. She’s extremely quick with her responses and proactively reached out to address any questions or concerns I had.
Jamie has been wonderful- I felt like we connected on our first session and I’ve noticed a positive improvement in how I’m feeling and how I’m able to think about my current situation. I like video visits, but having the text option is also great. Highly recommend working with her!
I love my session with Jamie. She is amazing, simple and very helping. She is awesome listener and she really helped me to calm down and making me understand to things. I highly recommend her.
Jamie is literally the therapist that has made me comfortable with therapy completely. She gives me great advice to follow, and is always encouraging. I am very happy to have her as my therapist. She has shown me that there are differences within the therapy community. I’ve only had one other therapist, and the contrast between the two is very real. She always shows up, and even gives me reminders. Night and day comparison when it comes to effort and care, I am very grateful.
Jamie has been amazing since I started therapy a couple of months ago. She continues to be supportive and understanding, and helps me continue to work on my mental health.
