Allison is a great listener. I also love her recall and dot connecting between past and recent things I’ve shared. I love the challenging questions and resource material she suggests. I’m glad I have Allison as my therapist. Recently I referred a friend to Betterhelp. While we were in a zoom call he looked it up and started the process of perusing his enrollment. He’s out of state so I told him he would likely be given a different person. I told him I’m sure he will be pleased.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

From day one, Allison’s listening practice, and the interest in my concerns she displayed has been genuine. Allison’s demeanor is welcoming and calming. Her recall and effort to follow up on past discussions to check on progress has been effective. The tools Allison provided for me to use, in the event of a peak levels of anxiety, and to practice using when times are good have really made a difference. While I know I still need these sessions, I also know I’m better now thanks to Allison and the services she provides through BetterHelp. All of the highlights and attributes I previously mentioned are important to me, and have been a game changer for my life. I believe Allison would provide a life changing experience to anyone who would be fortunate enough to have Allison as a therapist.
Allison is extremely kind and very thoughtful. She’s a great listener and also provides really helpful advice and ideas for how to manage whatever it is you’re struggling with. She’s been nothing short of great!
Allison has been one of the best counselors I've ever had and I have had a lot. She is calm and loving and supportive and has a tremendous talent for helping those on their healing journey.
Allison is the best!!’
Allison makes me feel so comfortable . She lidtens and offers such good advice to me. I have already recommend her to a friend. Thank you Allison!!
This year has been full of a lot of changes, growing pains, and stress - Allison has been so supportive in helping me navigate all of it! She uses all the tools BetterHelp has and I am so grateful I can send her a message when I am having a bad day.
Allison is great, however I wish I could schedule sessions in Better Help more than just once at a time in advance to help with consistency and keep a regular schedule.
Allison is wonderful, she is very thoughtful and provides helpful insights. I highly recommend her, especially if you are new to online therapy.
Allison has been wonderful to work with. I feel very seen and heard with her. I will wholeheartedly recommend her to my family and friends.
She's so wonderful. Responds as soon as she can and always encourages you to reach out if you need her even on her days off.
This has been a Godsend
Allison has helped me through a period of transition and processing trauma from recent years and back through childhood, especially the religious trauma that has affected my relationship with myself and others. I highly recommend her!
I’ve only had a few sessions with Allison but have felt almost immediately at ease and relaxed in their presence. It feels easy to be open and honest even with parts of myself that are usually hard to open up about. I appreciate that while I feel Allison being neutral and supportive in listening to me and really hearing my thoughts and concerns, Allison will also offer input that I find useful and engaging (compared to other experiences I’ve had where the counselor just feels too much at a distance). It feels like talking with a good friend, while staying present and aware in their professionalism and their clear expertise in counseling and therapy. I have seen at least five other therapists and have never felt this sense of ease or desire to continue therapy before (usually I would feel closed off and uncomfortable still after 3 or 4 sessions and then discontinue). I am looking forward to digging deeper with their guidance.
She has been very supportive on my issue and give some tools on helping me. She is extremely responsive on my messages!
My time with Allison has been such an asset. I appreciate her!

She is amazing. Perfect for someone in their early 2020s, and she makes me, a person who has trouble talking with most people, extremely comfortable.
I love talking her. Respectable and engaging.
Alison has been and continues to help me through probably the hardest time of my life to date, speaking openly with her has helped me with parts if my life that if I'm honest I never felt comftable speaking to anyone about. Shes helping me retrain my thought process and understand my situation which is helping me cope with it. Shes has given me tools to help see things diffrently, shes very kind and caring, shes truly changed my scepticism around seaking help.
