Hi, I'm Brian. Thanks for reaching out for help. As a social worker, I've been helping all different kinds of people for many years--from volunteering at a crisis counseling center to caring for adults with severe mental health conditions. My approach is pretty simple: YOU are the expert on you. In other words, I'm not here to tell you what's wrong with you. I'm here to listen to your story and help you identify your own strengths so you can live a more fulfilled, productive life. This person-centered approach emphasizes treating people with dignity, compassion and respect.
But enough about me. I'd enjoy the opportunity to hear your story. Thanks again for your time and consideration.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Brian was great for the limited time we were in sessions together.
Brian has been so kind and helpful. I really feel heard and supported.
Brian helped me with what I needed help with. He was enjoyable to talk with and seems like a great person.
I have only had one session so far with Brian. However; He listened to me and provided me with feedback and I felt like he was actually listening to what I had to say and cared about what I was saying. He also sent me tools via email after my session to utilize in between our sessions.
Brian is excellent at helping me through my issues, both the ones that are front of mind and the underlying problems that I can't see yet but are affecting me
Brian is very easy to talk to. He has great insight and suggestions. I feel very well matched with my therapist.
Very good
In just a few weeks time, Brian has done for me what I spent years trying to do for myself but never feeling like I had the tools to figure it out. My eyes are opened to new techniques, and thought processing. For once I have hope that I just might make it through all this healthier, both physically and especially mentally.
Brian is great! He's approachable, realistic, kind and engaging. He has consistently championed my progress and has made me feel like I can continue progressing independently.
Brian is wonderful and so helpful
It’s only the beginning but I really enjoyed how Brian listened to me and my concerns.
He is amazing!!! Easy to talk to and always willing to listen to my concerns. I feel comfortable talking to him about my personal life.
Brian, has helped me alot. He presents answers as a question most of the time. This works for me anyway.
I’ve always hated the idea of therapy or counseling.. but I feel safe.. and that’s a feeling I don’t take lightly. Thank you.
Brian I might have answered one of the questions backwards. I think it was the on one about promptness to respond.
Brian is great to work with. He asks great questions, listens, is understanding, and offers really valuable feedback. I am grateful for his help!
Brian is wonderful. I couldn’t have found a better therapist on BH. I couldn’t recommend him more.
Brian is an excellent choice for many reasons. I feel his approach to learning you, yourself, along with the situation that is causing mental harm at the time is an accurate and effective way to handle mental breaks. I would recommend him highly to anyone going through life changes.
Brian has helped me achieve peace through my anxieties and with some peace i am also starting to feel more hopeful about life in general. Thank you so much
I really appreciate the way he views things it is refreshing
Insightful, respectful and experienced, Brian helped me through some stuff I’d never dealt with before and I’m better off for it! Highly recommended.
Brian is kind, supportive and willing to work with you perfectly within your means. He has been able to provide resources both for my mental health and overall home life circumstances. He is willing to work with me on scheduling sessions and requests to be kept in the loop when I may be in crisis. I am outrageously grateful for Brian.
Brian has been a huge blessing in helping me to unpack some areas of concern in my communication skills without judgement or ridicule. He is positive and encouraging and I look forward to each of our sessions together.
Brian is one of the most caring, observant therapists I’ve ever had. I feel safe in his care, and I can feel progress being made. ❤️
I think he is great. It has taken me a long time to find a rhythm with therapy, and I have been on and off with it for years. But with Brian, I know that he hears me and offers good advice that I can take with me throughout my day. I trust his insight, and would recommend him to anyone looking to feel better in their journey.
Brian is the best counselor I’ve ever had. Not that I’ve had a lot but he is fantastic. I’ve had 4 sessions so far and he is such a good listener and has such good perspective. I greatly value his help.
I am new to therapy and was a bit hesitant and nervous to begin but am very happy that I did! Brian is very easy to talk to, listens to all of my concerns without judgement and offers helpful advice to use moving forward. Would definitely recommend Brian and BetterHelp to anyone looking for a new therapist, or someone curious about starting therapy for their first time!
I am really grateful to get Brian's insight during this difficult time in my life. He is a great listener and will not hesitate to be honest and upfront if he thinks you're making a bad decision. Therapy is definitely helping me cope.
I have only had a couple of calls and a few messages, however, Brian has already helped me and helped me find some good in me. I have a lot of work but he so far has been very supportive and understanding.
Only had two sessions so far but it is going great. Very attentive and caring, very important for a counselor to have.
Brian is a good listener. He is encouraging and positive and he helps you come to your own conclusions about things. He directed me to look at my strengths and encouraged me to enjoy the relationship I'm in rather than letting my doubts from previous failures hold me back. I appreciate him.
