Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Been so helpful
Love Nina! She has been so helpful and respectful.
Nina is excellent.
At this point I know my issues, I just need support, validation, and a good listener, and Nina fills these needs well. She also gives me tips and tricks I hadn't considered. 10/10, I recommend her as a Therapist.
working with Nina has been a huge game changer for me. she's helping me to discover the root cause of my issues and healthy ways to cope with them. I feel so comfortable and safe talking to her and I'm feeling more and more hopeful that I will, eventually, have all the coping mechanisms I need to start leading a healthier lifestyle.
My first three sessions have been very productive. Nina is a great listener!
Nina has been great over the last few months of having sessions with her. I tried several other therapists, but right away I felt good about her. I feel like she listens and hears me very well, but also will call me out on things as needed which I appreciate. I couldn’t recommend Nina enough, she’s great at what she does!
She’s fantastic.
I was a basket case after being sexually abused and ending up in a 24yr marriage to a malignat, grandiose narcissist. I was at the bottom. I started councilling with Nina about a year ago. It was hard work. But I listened and have slowly learned to change the way I thought about myself, as well as others. The councelling helped me see how to be stronger and more positive. I am so happy with all the material this site has to offer.
Nina is very understanding and easy to talk to, she has guided me towards so many helpful tools and resources like worksheets, classes, and group sessions that have made a significant impact on my self-realization and overall well-being.
She listens very closely to what you're saying and generates questions that make you view things from different perspectives. It helps with really learning more about yourself and being able to solve or at least reinforce positive ways of coping with said problems.
Very compassionate, validates my feelings and asks important probing questions to reach my own conclusions.
I’m pretty new to therapy as an adult and I’ve tried one other therapist who seemed pretty toxic and not at all what I needed in my life. So a few years go by and my life had led to needing all the help I could get. After my beloved best friend dog Guthrie passed away I was about as sad and low as you could possibly imagine. Fast forward to being ready, I found Nina. And it’s been a learning curve for me knowing how therapy works for me. I feel like I blab my head off and then I get anxious that I’m not doing it right!
Nina is very understanding and easy to talk to. She has helped me to clarify my therapy goals and put the focus on my wellness/self-care. I highly recommend Nina to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, and emotionally supportive therapist.
Great job
Nina has a way of getting you to let down your guard almost instantly and effortlessly. I feel like I’ve gained so much in such a short time. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.
Nina is amazing and a great listener! She also gives great worksheets that are helping me through my life right now.
Upon seeking out therapy, I knew I had issues that needed addressing, but I really couldn't identify why I act, behave and think the ways I do that are not benefitting me. The counselor offered to me was and is Nina Foster. I'm old and she's young and I'm a man and she's not, but it seems like this is a therapeutic match made in heaven. Nina has listened to me and my problems, listened to my background descriptions and my complexities in life. She's allowed me to talk and describe my troubles and my wishes. Along the way she has defined a direction for my improvements as a person and identified problems in my past, experiences I've lived through, which now affect my behaviors and peace. She's provided worksheets and direction to help me understand where I have been hurt, where I have hurt myself, and ways to progress to solve psychological problems and confusion. I'm just beginning this journey towards understanding and healing and feel confident that Nina can get me to a place where this is the result. Nina has strong credentials and has been on time and involved with me without distraction. I recommend her to others seeking life help and direction.
Nina Foster has been very supportive in my work to improve my mental health with my self and family. Highly recommend her
Great service and I feel like I'm making good progress in a small amount of time.
I’ve had many therapists throughout my life, so when I decided to give BetterHelp a try I was skeptical. Only two sessions with Nina and I feel more heard than I’ve felt from almost every other therapist I’ve had. I’m looking forward to future sessions. :)
She has already helped me so much in this journey toward healing.
Nina has been wonderful! I have only had a few sessions so far and have already made so much progress. I am looking forward to a long and healing relationship with her.
Nina foster is the best Counselor I ever talked to she is very helpful and understanding
Nina is one of the only therapists I’ve ever found who truly made me feel safe to be vulnerable and share things without the fear of being judged. It was a huge relief just to be able to talk to someone who remained neutral but provided validation and gentle guidance or perspective when needed. She is definitely one of the better therapists I’ve ever worked with and my time with her was very valuable.
I really enjoy talking with Nina. She is always in time with the support that I need.
She is great ! Very easy to talk to and I feel like she is actually listening and wants to help me
I always look forward to talking to Nina, she always greets me with a warm smile and genuinely wants to talk to me. I appreciate her kindness, compassion and willingness to be flexible with me when I have a change in schedule. I’m so blessed to have been matched with her as my therapist!
