Emily is an incredible therapist. Not only does she listen well, but she provides tools, resources, articles for learning and gives advice which is exactly what I was looking for. I struggled with finding a supportive therapist who would actually help me make changes until I was matched with Emily. I truly appreciate all of her help

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Emily is lovely, I connected with her about my depression and anxiety, specifically looking for DBT, trauma-informed and embodied approaches. She's very affirming and positive, and I've seen her weekly for 5 months. Even though I'm doing great now, I'm still seeing her because with COVID19 lockdowns/stay at home orders etc., I think it's important to have extra support.

Reviewed January 2021

I've only had a few sessions with Emily, but already feel like I've found someone I can trust and help me towards my goals. Since the first session, she's made me feel heard and given me practical advice on how to approach my problems. She's helped me come up with a plan, but also is warm and supportive. Couldn't recommend her more!
