She had me figured out within the first couple of sessions, which I was impressed with. She was never afraid to call me out on my bullshit and was incredibly patient and kind. Together we figured out what worked and what didn't, how to motivate, and the best way to combat any negative crap going on in my life. One of the best therapists I've ever worked with!

Hello! My name is Volha Volosevich, but many call me Olga. I was born in Belarus, and immigrated to the United States as a young child. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have attained additional certifications, including Certified Depression & Mood Disorder Treatment Professional (CDMDTP), and have completed additional training in treating Bipolar, Depression and Suicide Prevention and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) Certification. I have over 8 years of experience working in the mental health field - holding various positions and working with various diagnosis. I have worked in out-patient, in-patient, community, and residential settings. Most of my experience is surrounded around addiction, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, bipolar, and relationship conflicts.

My approach to treatment is through the Cognitive Behavioral Model, as well as a Person-Centered Approach. Through my work history, I have learned how significant our perception of thoughts impact our reactions and behaviors. I strongly believe that processing our thoughts and beliefs is a vital part of healing. I will meet you where you are at in your journey and help guide you to where you want to be. I come from a team-effort approach and view therapy as a partnership, rather than an individual journey. In addition, I believe in the power of homework as a strong tool to evolve skills learned in therapy. I take the time to get to know you and your story, while allowing you to lead the direction of therapy.

I look forward to going on this journey of healing with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Volha has been immensely helpful as a counsellor for me. I’m so thankful to have found her and it’s so unfortunate that due to time zone difference, we can no longer have sessions. I highly recommend her and am very thankful for everything I have accomplished with her

Volha Volosevich is an amazing counselor who is very open-minded, professional, and calm. Every single session I had with her really helped me understand myself and my issues much better. She is definitely a counselor I can recommend to anybody, but of course, specifically to those that fall under her specialties (LGBTQ+, grief, depression, etc.). I truly hope that most of the counselors on this site are nearly as good as Ms. Volosevich.

Volha (Olga) has been very helpful since I signed up for this program. She always responds very quickly and even checks in when I haven't written in a while. She helped me get through some issues by being a great listener, by giving me writing exercises to work on that were eye opening, and by helping me get to conclusions on my own instead of telling me what they should be. I am very happy with my experience with Olga!
