Hello! My name is Stephanie Quinn and I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. I am grateful that you are reading my profile and if you connect to what I am sharing, please reach out to me.

I chose the counseling field after working with children with autism and then adults suffering with addiction for several years. I have many years of experience working with trauma, Christian counseling, anxiety, self-worth and self-esteem, life transitions, grief and loss, LGBTQIA, postpartum depression and anger management. I also enjoy working with addictions, depression and spiritual struggles.

I would describe my style as warm, validating and supportive, and I am ready to help you tackle your struggle head-on. Collaboration is important and together we can work on establishing concrete goals and steps for you to help overcome your current obstacles. I believe in taking time and working on wellness slowly and consistently. Just as physical health takes time and consistency, so does mental health. I look forward to helping you in any way I can!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She is one of the best therapists that I've ever seen. Always listening to my concerns, asked what my goal was, helped me exactly the way I needed. Still seeing her and plan to continue seeing her indefinitely.

Stephanie is a great therapist and offers insight that I could never have realized on my own. She understands my perspective and empathizes with my struggles but she also makes me realize the realities of how my issues can affects those around me and myself in the long run. She is great and I would recommend her to anyone seeking help with addiction issues.

I this Stephanie is a great therapist she listens to my concerns and offers good suggestions for how to help me work through whatever situation I’m going through or want to talk about. Although, I think I would benefit from more hands on activities outside of our sessions. She has helped me a lot. She always has a positive outlook on things which is helpful as well. I like her energy.

Stephanie is a great counselor I saw the progress I made with her help and when I stopped going to sessions I saw the decline in my progress and I know it was her that made a difference

Reviewed November 2021

In the short time I’ve been attending sessions, Stephanie has been supportive and provided helpful guidance. It took me a while before trying online to find help, and I’m glad I did.

I think Stephanie as she is very positive, calm and collected, so that really calms me down during session. She never piles me up with a bunch of things at once but let’s me think through one or two things max and helps find ways to cope with negative situations. So far I think she is great at helping me take steps to they way out of each problem that I have or that occurs. And, she is open to me messaging her during the weeks to help me solve any anxieties that I have between sessions.

I came to BetterHelp after realizing the help I was getting from my initial in-person counselor was not enough to deal with my emotional load. Stephanie was actually the second counselor that the system matched me with, but I am glad that schedules didn't mesh with the first. Why? Because I am EXTREMELY glad that I now get to work with Stephanie. In only a few sessions, I already see/feel a great deal of growth. I know that I'm not out of the proverbial 'woods' yet. But my life feels greatly improved from where I was 1 or 2 months ago. I welcome the chance to keep working with her, as I know things can only continue to improve from here. I would highly recommend working with her, and thank you to BetterHelp for including her in your program.

Stephanie is really kind, she listens and takes time to understand and it never feels like you are being judged. You feel heard and the session feel like they are in a pace that is comfortable for you. I look forward to my session my only wish is that they where a little longer
