Hello! I am Robin Glaser and I am an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina. I have been working in the counseling field for 9 years. I began working after I received my master's in counseling psychology from Loyola University Maryland with some credits from Washington College in 2014. I began working with adults in the private practice setting while also working with children and families as a school based therapist in Baltimore. I transitioned to working in the day treatment setting as a therapist at a day program at Kennedy Krieger Institute for children and families with neurological disabilities while also working for an outpatient clinic with adults part time. I truly enjoyed having my experiences and work with a very wide range while starting my career and gaining much experience with many various patients. I moved to South Carolina in 2018 and transferred my license to the state. I now work for the department of mental health full time as a therapist in an outpatient clinic and for Betterhelp part-time.
My counseling approach is very individualized and client-centered. I loved to work with cognitive behavioral strategies, behavioral approaches, trauma informed treatment, solution focused therapy, goal setting, problem solving, and client-centered approaches. My experience includes a wide range of diagnoses and I feel as though I have most experience in anxiety related issues, trauma related disorders, social and relationship problems, depression and mood related concerns, anger management, and working with those with disabilities. I am certified in trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and use this treatment model to help those with trauma related diagnoses.
I would like to assist those seeking help by helping empathically and with genuine concern. My strength is in listening to others and helping others based on their own goals and desires. I like to set realistic and attainable goals in the treatment process and develop a plan and use strategies that are helpful and can help us both see growth and progress. My passion is to help those who seek it feel heard and listened to and make progress to end up being who and where they want to be.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She’s great!
I love it! So helpful!
Robin is a kind, thoughtful support who gently yet firmly guides me in a forward direction, my direction, not hers. She gently yet firmly offers suggestions to try different thoughts and behaviors. I would have never guess that I would need this kind of help but Robin is the perfect person to provide that help.
Robin has gone out of her way to reach me during a very dark time.
This is great! I’m learning so much
I have been working with Robin for a few months now and I cannot believe the progress I’ve made with her. I don’t know why I waited so long to seek help. She immediately made me feel comfortable and made me feel that I can tell her anything with no judgment. Robin is able to help me look at things in a totally different light and identify things that I can work on throughout the week in order to help me through. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate her and how thankful I am that I was matched with her!
I have only been meeting with Robin for a few weeks, but I'm already feeling in a much better headspace. She has been great at listening, understanding, and providing insight. I am so glad that I tried Betterhelp, and very happy to have been paired with Robin.
Robin has been so helpful and supportive! She is so kind, understanding, and always gives me great advice & coping mechanisms. I can’t believe the progress I’ve made working with her. Would definitely recommend her!
Robin is exactly what I’ve been looking for! She has a broad scope of experience and is comfortable talking about the big things as well as the small ones. I highly recommend her.
Robin handles your mental health with a calm and steady hand. She listens to you, helps you focus, and the prescribes the correct tools you can use every day to help yourself get better.
I have only been working with Robin for a few weeks, but she has already been phenominal. She is taking it step by step, and day by day, making sure that I am comfortable with her, and have all the resources that I need. She is non-judgmental, VERY responsive and patient with me. I have a very hard time with therapists and Robin has been THE BEST. She understands my anxiety about our sessions and immediately alleviates them. She doesnt make or force me to talk about anything I dont want to and she listens- and responds in the perfect manner. 10/10 recommend.
