She is very supportive and cheerful but it seems like I come to worthy insights myself and she’s just a person to text to while I’m solving all my problems alone. Dunno, maybe that’s the point.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years experience working as a counselor and life coach. I have worked with clients helping them to learn how to cope with depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, life changes, and parenting problems. In addition, I have homeschooled over 24 years and am familiar with the challenges facing homeschool families.
My counseling style is relaxed and compassionate, and I believe that communication and collaboration is important in the counseling relationship. I work hard to develop rapport to create a safe place for clients to be open and honest about their thoughts and feelings. My approach is based on my understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-based therapy. As your counselor, I will work with you to develop goals that will help you to learn how to work through challenges you may face to have the life you desire.
By seeking counseling, I believe you have strength and courage, which are necessary to create the changes you are looking for. If you are ready to take the steps to transform your life, I am here to work with you, encourage you, and empower you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I’m grateful for Kim’s partnership in helping me to get emotionally healthy.
I feel like I couldn’t have found anyone else that understands me and my needs any better than who had been chosen for me. Kimberly is very prepared and always on time. She is also extremely knowledgeable about things I needed assistance with. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!! Best therapist I’ve had!
Fabulous therapist
Kimberly is a God send! I had a previous counselor on here and got really discouraged, I'm so glad I didn't give up! She responds timely and to your specific concerns. Definitely would recommend!
Very kind and helpful. Always a quick reply.
She is awesome!!!
Kim is the best. She was my first therapist ever so I was a little hesitant but she made me feel very comfortable
She's a great listener.
Kimberly is doing wonders for me. I was hesitant to do any type of counseling. She is helping me make myself better.
Kimberly has been so helpful and supportive. So thankful for her expertise and guidance.
Kim is an amazing therapist. I have a few different in person and on BetterHelp and she is by far my favorite therapist. I am in therapy more for keeping up with life and navigating it and I’ve been super happy with how helpful she is. When I’m having a rough time or struggling with something specific she is great at pinpointing the feeling and explaining how our brain works or created these feelings or habits or whatever it may be and then helping with solutions or ways to navigate it! She also sends out very useful messages each week that help with a range of needs, I’ve enjoyed them and implemented some of the techniques. She also seems great at helping people with trauma as she’s mentioned some techniques she uses and classes she’s done and explains why the brain does certain things which probably helps understand trauma and such a lot. She’s very likeable, kind, understanding and I never ever feel judged by her so matter what I say. Couldn’t recommend her more
I have tried therapy 4-5 other times and never found a therapist that was right for me. This time, I did! She listens. She responds quickly. She seems to care. She gives amazing advice and asks if we are comfortable with the advice she gives. If not she gives us smaller steps or different paths to take! I LOVE her as my therapist! I feel safe talking to her!
Kimberly is relateable & listens. She raises questions & suggestions for patient to think about and gather thoughts & feelongs to bring to discussion.
She’s great!!
I have truly found peace within myself by being able to confide in Kimberly. She listens to my issues and offers good, valid, sound advice. She also encourages me to dig deep into my own conscience to try to locate deep rooted issues that I may not know I have repressed which impacts my current anxiety. I can’t thank her enough for her support!
Kimberly was able to relate to my needs and concerns through personal expertise. She knows the heartache and pain that I feel with parenting a teenager and offered practical tips to aid in improving my communication and relationship with my daughter.
Kimberly has been a great support each week and I hope to continue seeing her
Kim is supportive and truly concerned in the betterment of mental health. She is wonderful at checking in and making you feel valued.
Only a few weeks in but so far so good
I really appreciate Kim and her style of therapy. She is very laid back, but takes her job seriously. She is friendly and encouraging and offers great insight and advice and has been a valuable resource to me as I’ve done a lot of self work on myself to be a better partner and father. I am very grateful for her and am a better person since having her help and therapy expertise. Thank you Kim!!
I started seeing Kimberly a few weeks before my dad unexpectedly passed away. She has been a lifesaver during this time. I’ve really struggled with anxiety and she’s given me several diff options to help work through panic attacks and also always checks on me on the weekends.
Very kind. Prompt and helpful.
I love my counselor. She is so encouraging.

Kimberly is a very good listerner & applies comments & suggestions when available. She offers support & exercise activities to apply til the next session.
Kim is chill. No pressure.
Kimberly is great. She could relate to my situation. She is very professional. She gave me some life examples from her own experience but didn't make it all about her.
Kim is a wonderful help. She listens and i feel valued when we talk. I feel safe to express my thoughts and struggles with her and she is a great encouragement and offers great help and advice. Grateful for her!
You’re amazing!!
Kimberly is absolutely wonderful. She is able to make me feel validated in my feelings while helping me come up with ways to deal with my struggles.
Kimberly has been a great help and encouragement. I’ve felt listened to and she is quick to respond. She’s always on time and communicates well. I’ve been very pleased with her services! She’s given me good ideas and tips to get to a better understanding in my situation.
Kimberly is amazing. She helped me navigate some tough issues I was dealing with. I felt heard and I felt that my emotions and responses were valid. She was calm, she used her own life experiences to help me through these challenges. I am incredibly thankful for our short time together.
She's very helpful.
Kimberly is very consistent and doesn’t take sides she always checks me and get me together as well
It can take a long time to get help, to acknowledge to yourself that you need it and then to actually show up. Kim allayed any fears and preconceptions and has gently, compassionately and empathetically helped me work through inner struggles whilst providing enough food for thought at the right times. Therapy is hard, very hard, so your counsellor is crucial. Kim has made seemingly untraverseable bridges crossable for me and shown me lifetime tools that give me more strength than I've had in years.
Very personable
Kimberly is very sweet and she always make sure to check up on you through the text messages. Which I found very nice. However I find talking to her goes nowhere so she gives me no help or advice. I feel like talking to a stranger on the street would be just as adequate. I often find a talk and when I'm done she has no response has no questions no lessons and I just keep talking and she goes on haha and hun and I learned nothing and don't grow it all I feel like I've wasted a s*** ton of money just talking to a person that did absolutely no actual work that would have taken studying or a college degree to do
I felt so much better after a recent call with Kim. While talking with her on the phone she was able to help me come to some realizations about issues in my relationship with my husband and my son and even some things I needed to understand about myself. She shared some of her personal experience, which I found helpful and relatable. She’s very communicative and available and easy to talk to.
I hug myself every time we talk the counseling is so good
Perfect balance of friendly and professional. Understanding her background makes me feel even more confident about her abilities as a therapist (not that they were ever a question). I felt instantly comfortable with her.
Kimberly is such a kind and supportive councillor, she makes you feel really comfortable and she really listens and supports you and find out what your big concerns are and gives you helpful strategies to help you work through them.
Kim, talks to me like a human being, doesn’t criticise or makes any judgment, helps me through my troubles of life, would definitely recommend her
Very kind and caring, but also share her personal struggles/insights which makes me listen more/makes her more accessible emotionally
Kimberly helped me a lot with my relationship with my parents and my partner. I felt heard and like I could really express myself. I had to quit Betterhelp not because of her, but because I decided to see someone physically in my country. I recommend her !
I really like my counselor. She is perfect for me. Thanks.
Having Kimberly as my counselor has been a life changing experience. I had never used professional therapy services prior to joining BetterHelp but I'm very thankful for Kimberly being my first therapist. The lessons and skills I've obtained during the time I've spent on BetterHelp will carry me through my lifetime. The experience has truly been priceless.
My counselor genuinely seems to care about me as a person.
Kim shows so much concern and even when I’m talking with her abs mention others... she addresses it with, that’s great, but tell me, how does that make you feel? I love Kim. Very helpful, thoughtful and quick responder...
Kimberly has really helped me in a time where I felt the most alone and stagnant. She has had some shared experiences which has helped so much with our sessions. She's easy to talk to and there is no judgment. I couldn't recommend her more highly
