Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jennifer is an amazing therapist who has done an amazing job with helping me work through some of my struggles. She is calm, cool, and collected. She is very understanding and knows how to relate to you and help guide conversations to a productive end!

I would highly recommend BetterHelp because of Jen! It took me a few tries with the selection of therapists then BetterHelp decided to take the lead and assign her to me. She's truly the best and I wish I could thank her but everything I'd say or do wouldn't be enough for what she's done for me.

Jen is amazing. I worked with her for 6 months, took a a few years off and just started meeting with her again. She had a great bag of tools to share, and is a great balance of humor, seriousness and challenging ideas. I especially like the worksheets that have been shared and those stay with me as a check list should I need them. I can't sing her praises loud enough!

I absolutely love Jen. She has helped me more than I can express and continues to do so. Best therapist I have ever had, she makes me feel like I matter.

M.A.·Apr 2022

I have never found a therapist that I have enjoyed as much as Jen, and I have had very many. She understands me, there is never any awkward silence, and I never feel like my issues aren't important. I have opened up to her more than I have any other therapist. She is so easy to talk to, caring, and doesn't ever make me feel rushed or unimportant. So grateful for Jen, very happy I found her.

M.A.·Nov 2021

I absolutely adore Jennifer. She is a very respectful and understand person who prioritizes my goals and needs during our sessions. She lets me know when I may be pushing myself too much or not enough and gently guides me where I need to go.

D.A.·Jul 2021

Jen is fantastic. Being in Utah i was worried about being judged for my lack of religious practice. Jen has been very supportive and i have never felt judged. She offers a very relaxed environment and can be informal while still being professional. She has helped me with mu communication, anger and loss. my only regret is not signing up and meeting her earlier!

Jennifer has been the greatest therapist I have had since I began therapy. She has helped me in so many ways that I didn't know I could be helped! She's very understanding and also very up front with me since she knows that I learn and understand best that way.

B.E.·Dec 2020

i really really like her. she seems to listen and point out things that i didn’t even realise were issues that i have. the time zone issues is a little difficult but she’s better than any councillor i’ve had before so i’m sticking with it
