I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 20 years and I have extensive training in many populations, diversity, chronically mentally ill, and substance use disorders. My primary focus is here and now and identifying ways to incorporate new ideas and change in our lives. I use primarily cognitive and behavioral techniques with a focus on new neurological information as it relates to mental health. . Insight and reflection often needs to be mindful and in the present, allowing for our ability to identify appropriate needs and wants. The most important tool we have is an objective sense of self as well as an identity fitting with our culture and social needs.
I work with the LGBTQ+ population have worked with gender and sexual orientation issues.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Overall rating:
Leslie is very helpful and checks in regularly.
Leslie is very intuitive, respectful and knowledgeable.
Leslie has helped me learn how my brain works and reminds me to be more gentle with myself:) She’s also just cool to talk to and makes me laugh
Leslie nailed it on the head when she pointed out that "I had been asked" to "run for the HOA Board"--and had not actually thought of it myself. When I have been in therapy before-the advice was "Got out and volunteer" which didn't really seem to help me. Often it got me off course and just added to my issues.
I appreciate Leslie and attribute her to my growth.
Leslie arrived in my sphere at exactly the right moment. She has been a wonderful resource, answers my questions with care, and is super positive.
Leslie is great. She teaches and informs you as you go, which is really helpful.
Fantastic insight, she is helping me understand the most difficult and ecotonal experience of my entire life.
Leslie is amazing! She listens to and understands what issues are important to me.
Leslie is incredibly helpful! I see things that are bothering me clearer now and I'm becoming more of an advocate for myself.
Leslie has been very patient with me as I have worked through some very tough things at a slow pace. She is quick to help me reframe my negative thinking while also pushing me to do the hard work in a supportive way.
Leslie was a great fit for my particular issues and learning style. In just a few sessions, I had new tools and tips to use. I will continue to see her for refresher sessions.
Leslie is refreshingly straightforward, educated, and compassionate. She gives me actionable tools and takes the time to explain the supporting data when it's helpful. I would recommend her to anybody especially who struggles with trusting authority or feels uneasy with platitudes.
I have really appreciated every session with Leslie. She always listens carefully, and responds insightfully in a way that is incredibly helpful. She often shares very helpful articles/written resources relevant to what we discussed in the session prior. I haven't appreciated therapy the way I appreciate working with Leslie in a while!
I really appreciate my conversations with Leslie. She gave me great insight that no other therapist has given me before. Always giving me valuable resources and insight. Deeply knowledgeable in the brain, traumas, and family dynamics that impact my world today. She an invaluable resource. Thank you Leslie!
Very good listener. Very engaging. Very supportive. Good conversation. And on point advice!
Leslie is intelligent, insightful, patient, and understanding.
Leslie is an amazing therapist. She listens well and offered many resources through tough situations with family. I came to her for clarity as I work through anxiety from a big move, and grief hanging around from deaths in my family and divorce. Basically I was a mess with all the problems when we began I work. I felt like a cluttered book shelf and after a few months I feel put back together and able to take a holiday break from therapy. All while knowing I can come back anytime.
Leslie has done a great job of listening and providing a clear perspective on a situation that is very difficult and confusing for me.
I’ve only been with Leslie for two weeks now but I have felt more empowered, listened to, and excited to work on my mental health than I ever have before. Leslie truly listens to my concerns and struggles and gives me not only her profession advice but also articles and books that are researched based. Every time we end a live session there are IMMEDIATELY articles, recommendations and helpful resources sitting in my inbox from her. I have used MANY therapists in my lifetime and I have never enjoyed and looked forward to meeting with any of them, this experience has truly changed my mind not only on therapy but how well it works. I would 100% recommend Leslie to anyone I know seeking a therapist!
She is very attentive and offers a multitude of support and ideas.
I like that she provides things to look at and recommendations to each session
Leslie is amazing! She has a plethora of resources she shares that are all extremely helpful! We worked through a lot of trauma and she always made me feel very comfortable. 10/10 recommend
She’s awesome, which I would have signed up earlier!
I've seen many therapists in different seasons of my life, but Leslie is the first one to really get to the root of all my issues and concerns. I'm now looking at myself from a completely different lens than I would have ever considered in the past. I'm quite impressed.
Leslie is a fabulous therapist and her years of experience and knowledge are apparent in her ability to identify and thoughtfully work through complex issues that surface in our sessions together. She is an amazing listener, a skilled communicator, and the guiding force that I need(ed) at a critical time in my life. I am SO thankful to have found her!
I enjoy the sense that she's traveled a similar path as me when it comes to emotional boundaries and communicative maturity.
She’s a great listener and really good at breaking down information, helps me understand the issue more. I’d prefer to keep paying for this service instead of going through my health insurance options. So much better!
Leslie has been nothing but easy to talk to. I went in with very little understanding on why I have been unable to dig myself out of this pit for so many years. After our first meeting, she had given me plenty of insight that has been a tremendous help. She has been an asset to shifting my thought-process into healthier version. I 100% look forward to continue working with her.
Leslie continues to be wonderful. A good fit for me!
Leslie has been wonderful. For the first time in my mental health journey I found someone who understands and helps me find me.
leslie is very qualified and my experience with her so far has been extremely helpful I am so glad I was connected with her
Extremely kind, comforting, and very knowledgeable in my mental health diagnosis. Really excited that I found such a great person on my first try, that never has happened in my many years of therapy in person.
Professional, courteous and realistic all at the same time. Leslie has been a great resource for me as I moved forward to other providers!
