I don't know you quite yet, but if you are reading this, I already know that you are motivated to live your best life! Seeking counseling is not easy, but get prepared-you are about to embark on a life-changing journey. I see my role as a counselor as that of a guide, and I would be honored to listen to your story and help you write the next chapter of your life.
I am professional counselor licensed in Wisconsin with over 7 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and coping with general life changes, but I have great interest in PTSD and attachment disorders and I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. My counseling style is client-centered and tailored to fit you and your needs. Each step of the counseling process, from treatment planning to discharge planning is based on what you feel you need. After all, you are the expert on yourself! My evidence-based approach combines cognitive-behavioral, DBT skills, and motivational interviewing, which I feel keeps us focused on goals while still developing a great therapeutic relationship, which is the cornerstone of treatment.
I'm thrilled to get the chance to work with you. I hope we can chat soon!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She is best
Leah is a caring and compassionate counselor who has helped me tremendously in my mental health journey!
Leah is the best! She listens, asks very great questions, understands my problem and then helps to come up with solutions to even really complex situations. I can't thank her and recommend her enough.
Leah is the best. She is an amazing listener, person, and she feels like a friend to me. Every session I’ve had with her, I feel heard and understood, and I always have a new perspective after. Being someone who finds it hard to voice my thoughts, each session I’ve been able to open up more. I feel safe and comfortable sharing my thoughts with her and appreciate her insight and outlook. I am truly grateful to have found a therapist like her.
Leah is the best therapist I’ve ever had in my entire life. She goes above and beyond as a therapist and she’s an incredible person! She feels like a close friend. She always listens to me and remembers every detail I tell her and has great advice and guidance. Trust me when I say YOU NEED LEAH IN YOUR LIFE! She’s very inclusive and knowledgeable in many different realms of therapy which has been very helpful to me as a queer, she/they, native person with a lot of trauma. She’s helped me grow from and overcome huge challenges in my life. 100000000 out of 10 recommend her!!
