Hello, my name is Sarah Isaack and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wyoming and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Idaho. I would like to provide you with some information about myself so you can determine if I am a good fit for your counseling needs. I have two dogs named Solstice and Sam in addition to a Cockatoo named Pinkerton. I am currently married and have lived in Wyoming most of my life. I enjoy reading, walking in nature, and gardening for self-care, and I am extremely passionate about helping others help themselves.
I have been both a substance and mental health counselor for over 9 years and have a degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have vast experience working with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, burnout, self-esteem, self-identity, and life purpose. I also have experience working with trauma, addictions, and relationships. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in all types of settings ranging from outpatient therapy to residential treatment.
My passion is helping clients help themselves so they can become the best version of themselves. I believe individuals should be in control of their sessions and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I understand how uncomfortable it can be to self-disclose to a stranger as I have been in counseling myself which is why I try to provide a nonjudgmental place to explore counseling issues.
I have a strong theoretical counseling orientation with Person-Centered Therapy which focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental environment. I am also a big fan of Solution-Focused Therapy which focuses on helping individuals create meaningful life goals. At times I will use Existentialism which focuses on the meaning of life. Although I have certain preferences for theoretical orientations, I often use an eclectic counseling approach to individualize treatment for clients.
I am passionate about helping others and believe empathy is the key to successful counseling relationships. There will be times I will gently challenge clients in sessions, but I aim to do so in a respectful manner that isn't insulting. I look forward to working with you and hope you will enjoy working with me!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I really look forward to my counseling sessions and find a lot of her recommendations extremely helpful. She’s really great and has helped me a lot so far.
Sarah is wonderful!! When I started counseling I was very nervous, anxious and closed off. Sarah did a great job of learning how I am as a person to really build a rapport with me. Sarah has helped me tremendously with the goals we set together and listened, showed patiences, and flexibility with me and my needs. Sarah was very accommodating with my schedule and always made me feel like I was her only client. I would time and time again recommend Sarah to anyone. She helped me move through my goals, gave me confidence and helped me better to understand myself as a person and thought me a lot of the counseling world. Thank you, Sarah!
This has been an amazing way to cope with the stress of life. Sarah is great at helping me see things from a different perspective,
Sarah gives you the help you need. She’s very real and that is exactly what people including myself need.
Sarah is easy to talk with. I never feel rushed and truly believe I could talk with her about anything. Highly recommended.
Sarah is an amazing person. She has helped me understand that opening up isn’t as bad as I thought it was. I felt really comfortable with our first session. I just want to talk with her every day and all day. I’m really glad that I am matched up with her and she will go on my speed l. not okay we need to do this in this time and then we will do this for this long. I don’t talk much or open up and she lets me feel comfortable to tell her my whole life story and we had three sessions. So it is really worth the money.
Sarah is soooooo good! She gets to the truth right away and lets me take the conversation and session where it needs to go. Love her so much!
Sarah is a wonderful help.
