Kelli is an amazing counselor. She helped me immensely, and so many times she offered a different perspective that expanded my thinking and really changed how I was stuck in things. She is also an impressive listener and would connect the dots and bring things back up from weeks or months before. Can't recommend highly enough. 5 stars!

More about Kelli

Hello!

My name is Kelli Johnson. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and registered yoga teacher (RYT) based in Wyoming. I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend, auntie, niece, therapist, and a fellow traveler on this journey of life.

I have experience in community mental health, private practice, and residential settings. I specialize in treating symptoms of depression, anxiety, loneliness, unease, women's issues, and life transitions. I tailor my approaches to counseling based on you and your needs. I employ an integrative approach to healing, growth, and change utilizing tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic (body based) techniques including breath work, mindfulness, narrative therapy, bibliotherapy, and solution focused brief therapies.

I see my role as a counselor as a collaborator. You are the expert of your own experience. Through my professional training, clinical work, and life experiences, I have acquired frameworks, skills, and tools to help you make meaning from your experiences, discover your own strength and resilience; to realize and create meaning from life challenges; to center yourself; and to move forward in your life with intention, wisdom, and peace. I consider walking with people awhile on their journeys of healing, growth, transformation, life, and love as a privilege and a sacred duty I embark upon with a compassionate, open, and accepting heart.

I believe the key to productive work in therapy is the counselor client relationship. I am committed to building a strong working alliance with you grounded in respect, acceptance, empathy, and authenticity. I would be honored to walk with you awhile on your journey!

Kindest regards,

Kelli

Kelli is helping me look at my problems holistically. This is so helpful because I like to focus on small facts, which doesn't present the whole issue. She is a gem.

Kelli has been absolutely wonderful so far! I'm still pretty new into things with Better help but Kelli has already shown me that I can confide and trust in her and she will listen and be supportive and caring and knowledgeable about what I am going through and find ways to help me and not judge me.

Reviewed November 2020

I've been so pleased with Kelli. Right from the first time she reached out to me, I could tell that she had read my concerns and profile background and was prepared to meet with me and immediately was prepared to help me dive deep into myself and help me start realizing some of my goals. She patiently listens, and very quickly picks out the things about me that may need some adjustments. Taking this step towards counseling was not easy for me, but Kelli has been very kind and understanding and I would recommend her to anyone.
