When the demands of our lives grow to fast, our mental health takes a back seat. I work with patients to find a place of calm in their every day life, to help heal from anxiety, trauma, depression and other negative associations. We will work together to understand how the past and present intersects; and build new coping skills to heal from past trauma, and find new ways to navigate life. I have 13 years experience that directs my practice, in that time I've learned building a therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change. I focus our time to get to know you and your goals then we can create change.
I specialize in healing from traumatic pasts, disconnecting from unhealthy relationships, learning new ways to build relationships and establishing safety in our own lives. I use my background in understanding attachment and trauma to help you navigate to a space of safety.
I use She/her pronouns. I am currently only open for messaging based clients. I look forward to getting to know you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Victoria is amazing!! She listens to me without judgement. She has helped me so much with learning about myself.
Love her!
Victoria is fantastic! She truly cares and that means so much! She has helped me a lot and put my mind at ease. I personally preferred the messaging, I feel more comfortable doing that and like I don’t have to fake it til I make it. I highly recommend Victoria and you’d be making a great choice in selecting her as your therapist.
This has been my first experience in therapy and Victoria's approach + expertise immediately eased all the hesitations I had as someone who's always been too afraid to try. You'd think communicating via chat would be incredibly difficult for therapy, but Victoria does a great job and I can feel her candor through the screen. She helps me see and think about things in ways I never have before. I'm grateful for BetterHelp and coming across someone like Victoria!
Great
Victoria Cannon is sweet and really understanding. The moment I joined she asked me for my pronouns and if I’m bisexual or straight to get to know me. Asked for information just to make sure she knows she can provide more help when it is needed. I definitely recommend Victoria, I never felt uncomfortable or any negative way about her.
I love how Victoria pulls the focus into what is important without sacrificing listening to me or hearing me out, and is always affirming of how I feel and helps me be constructive with it
Victoria is amazing. She's given me so much great advice in the short time I've been with her. If I didn't have her, I don't know how the last month would've turned out emotionally. Extremely grateful to her, and I will miss her when our time is up.
Victoria is a great listener and really helps me notice patterns in my thinking and supports me in navigate my emotions and actions.
She’s great! Super flexible, easy to talk to, and simply gives the best advice!
she is very carinf and understanding and very patient with me. Especially when I have taken time not to respond once I do get on and respond she treats me like we’ve been talking forever.
Shes like a friend
I am leaving BetterHelp to pursue therapy under my insurance but this was a great start and if it was covered under Cigna I would happily continue with Victoria. She’s great and provides perspective.
I’ve been dealing with very stressful times as I’m sure many people are. Victoria has helped me tremendously with dealing with all things incoherent and coherent in my life which I appreciate greatly we’re still working together but it is so nice to be able to talk about anything to her and actually hear a straightforward response of the situation and her giving me a better perspective on everything going on in my life. She’s a great counselor!
She’s doing amazing. I couldn’t ask for any better. Still only two weeks into it but things are great
I don’t have the words to describe how amazing Victoria is. She is understanding and caring, yet tough at the same time. Her counseling style is perfect for me. And not to mention she is super consistent with messaging!
Victoria is knowledgeable and responsive. I have appreciated her feedback greatly.
Victoria is so attentive and asks so many questions I would never think to ask myself. The perspective she offers as someone with lifelong personal and family struggles is refreshing, just when you think you don't want to "repeat your life story," like I foolishly thought going into therapy, her approach and conversation and exercises she offers are new and unlike anything I've ever found in my own fruitless self-research for help. She is great. Couldn't recommend more.
She has been very helpful and friendly. We’ve only worked together for a couple of weeks but she responds quickly and so far her suggestions seem like they will really be useful and that gives me confidence in continuing to work with her.
Victoria seems very respectful of me and my situation. She’s both professional and sensitive to my concerns.
She has been very helpful and asks good questions that I wouldn’t think to ask myself.
Victoria is great
