My therapist was very thoughtful, kind and insightful. She went out of her to offer me encouraging messages when I couldn’t talk to her. Her compassion and expertise in her field makes her an excellent therapist.

I was skeptical at first, about virtual mental therapy. I wasn't sure I could make a connection with a counselor without meeting in person. But, it wasn't awkward at all, and opened up a whole new avenue to having mental health assistance in the moment (when it matters most.) Jen was helpful and patient and kind, everything you want a therapist to be. I've done a lot of healing with her and I can't wait to see what's next!

Hi there and blessings! I am so glad that you have stopped in to check out my profile. I am Jennifer Enders, a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth services in Arizona. I graduated with my B.S. degree in Psychology in 2001 and my M.A. degree in Counseling in 2006. I have over 21 years of experience providing mental health services. I I am a certified Meditation and Mindfulness teacher and love to also bring this into my work.

I typically work Monday - Friday with availability from 8 - 2. I offer all session formats. You can expect messaging responses within 24 hrs excluding weekends. I have provided over 3,000 Telehealth sessions alone, this is a great flexible space to get support!

I enjoy working with adults and believe the therapeutic relationship is what is most important. I provide counseling to clients that are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, adjustments-changes-transitions, low self-esteem and self-worth, troubles with relationships, communication, boundaries, burnout, stress and overwhelm, chronic medical issues, compassion fatigue, and I like to consider myself a therapist of therapists. I love to help guide people to feel like the best version of themselves.

My counseling philosophy is that clients know themselves best and have the inner strength and wisdom to heal, with a little help. I offer a safe non-judgmental space to do the work. Together, we explore belief systems and how these impact emotions and behaviors and have an impact on overall mental health symptoms. My expertise allows you to develop your own perspective of problem solving and empowers you to make the changes needed in order to accomplish your goals.

I have a person-centered approach and value the importance of a good therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices as part of my therapeutic interventions. I am inclusive and consider myself an ally to others of various backgrounds and experiences. My favorite thing is to provide a safe space to feel seen and heard in a non-judgmental space. I am a fan of structure and homework and truly love what I do.

I am married and we have 1 daughter and a family of fur babies. I enjoy reading, yoga, walks, family time, and time in nature. I have my own meditation practice and honor the importance of self care and work life balance.

Reach out today with any questions, feel free to schedule an intake. You have taken the first step to getting some support- you are brave and you can do hard things. What is sharable is bearable.

Warmly, Jen

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She is excellent at teaching. I came here hoping to learn some skills for managing emotions and responding better to situations. I learned more in just three weeks than I expected to learn at all. I feel like I have been able to grasp what she is saying and actually put it into practice.

Apr 2023

Feb 2023

Jen is fantastic and sessions with her are the ideal balance of her listening and providing feedback. She is thoughtful and kind and has provided me with great insights and advice. She is very responsive and flexible with scheduling. Jen clearly communicates when she won't be available well in advance and demonstrates the perfect equilibrium of accommodation and boundary setting. I struggle with boundary setting myself, and love seeing healthy boundaries laid out in such a kind and communicative way. She models how I'd like to treat others as that is exactly how I like to be treated. Throughout our therapy relationship Jen has been incredibly helpful as I've worked on several challenges and areas I look to improve on. She continues to provide judgement-free advice and seems to tailor her suggestions based on what she knows about me and my personality. I believe she would be an excellent fit for therapy veterans, like myself, ready to dive in, as well as those new to therapy/those unsure about its efficacy. Jen is a great asset and I look forward to more personal growth and her invaluable support as we continue to work together.

K.A.·Jul 2022

I’ve enjoyed it so far!

N.I.·Mar 2022

I thoroughly enjoy that I can text my therapist whenever I want to and she always has a supportive thought or thought provoking question along with relevant resources at times. It feels casual but helps keep me accountable with my goals throughout every day - not just on session days.

K.A.·Mar 2022

Jennifer is very easy to talk to and I look forward to our sessions each week. She also sends me a lot of materials to work with in between sessions and she is quick to answer back when I send her messages.

A.L.·Mar 2022

I really enjoy having Jennifer as my therapist. She is very respectful and professional, she helps keep me on track by setting goals and stay focused rather than rant and ramble for an hour. She gives insight but is very careful and sweet to not impose her thoughts or ideas. She also responds quickly and is very communicative.

K.R.·Feb 2022

Jennifer is particularly skilled at being both professional and personal. She also never comes from a standpoint of knowing more about a subject than me. She learns with me and that makes it seem like we have equal footing. I've gained a lot of knowledge from her and hope others that work with her with benefit as much as I have.

J.A.·Jan 2022

She is very good, understanding, I am so glad I feel better.

J.O.·Aug 2021

She is very good at what she does and so far is helping me very much.
