Ive been MIA for a couple of months and she is still willing to be there and helpful. She is blunt and forward. And doesn't shy away from topics that you want to talk about. Your comfort is always important though. Highly reccomend

Welcome, my name is Trudy. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), and I have been working in the field of mental health for over 18 years. I love what I do, and that is why I do it.
Education:
Walden University - Human Services Administration - Graduate Certificate - 2014
University of Arkansas-Little Rock - Social Work - MSW - 2007
University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff - Social Work - BSW - 2005
Experience:
I have worked primarily in the outpatient treatment setting, with individuals with a variety of mental health and stress-related issues since 2005. My journey working in mental health began with a co-ed inpatient substance abuse treatment facility where I taught relaxation techniques, anger management, stress reduction, and coping strategies. From there, I evolved into the outpatient community mental health arena. I have served as an on-call therapist, group therapist, individual therapist, family therapist, and couples/marriage therapist. I have significant experience in dealing with self-harm and alternative coping strategies as well.
While I have worked with all diagnoses, I have a passion for stress reduction, relaxation, depression, anxiety, and grief counseling. I lean toward Cognitive Behavior Therapy(CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/Tapping), but I also have experience with Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I teach meditation techniques and mindfulness practices. I am also a certified Reiki Master, a Life Coach, and an active member of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
You have now entered a space that is safe and built for you to feel supported and improve your life! Welcome!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Very pleased
She is a good listener, easy to talk to. Feel a genuine connection and have seen a difference in myself since starting therapy with her.
Trudy is genuine and that’s what I really like about her. She is true and doesn’t sugarcoat things and listens. You have a great one there, thanks Trudy!
Very upfront doesn’t sugarcoat anything. Let me know what she expects me and asked me what I expect of her. It’s perfect.
She is amazing!
She is good
Trudy has been a great support. She brings honesty, humor, and much-needed reality checks. Most importantly, she is easy to talk to.
Trudy is awesome. Never had a better therapist and I hope to continue with my therapy as long as I can.
Trudy offers clients a combination of research-based therapy supports and old-fashioned (and sometimes humorous) common sense. The blend of her education in social sciences and homespun wisdom is a delight. She is very helpful, thoughtful, listens very well, and feeds back to the client useful reflections, tools, stories...and sometimes allegories. The books, articles, and worksheets she has recommended have also been timely, relevant, and helpful. I have enjoyed working with her!
Very helpful
I find Trudy Crow to be an excellent therapist. She provides a very relaxing and trustworthy atmosphere. I feel like I can tell her anything without fear of judgement. I highly recommend her services.
Trudy LISTENS and validates. She is authentic. I've felt myself healing. It's taken a long time to get here because I've been strung along with other therapists but not with her.
I won't pretend that every counselor or therapist is for everyone. But, Trudy? She'll give it her best shot, and lemme tell ya... it's a damn good shot. She's intuitive kind, honest, and doesn't shy away from the hard (or even truly dark) stuff. Every appointment feels like a conversation, there's never any pressure but Always understanding and compassion. She won't throw you a pity party but she will make sure you don't feel alone even just by yourself. Her insight is innately human, and if you've met your share of therapists then you know what I mean when they're not "human" with you. TL:DR Trudy may not be for you, but if you need someone to listen, share, and feel better (even snag some good guidance and insight), then she should definitely be on your list.
Trudy has been an excellent therapist. She's warm and non-judgemental. I feel like I'm just talking to a good friend. Her advice is very helpful and thoughtful. I've enjoyed my time with her.
Trudy has a cool-aunt vibe that I really appreciate. She checks up on me periodically even when I'm off on another planet, it's grounding.
Trudy is one of the best therapists I've ever worked with. She's calming, down-to-earth, and very insightful. Working with her has been an all-around pleasure.
Trudy is meant for this! I love her style. I feel heard with her.
I continue to feel so calm after having sessions with Trudy. She has helped me change my life for the better and feel so appreciative!
Trudy makes me feel comfortable. She listens and understands, and when we talk I feel like I am talking to a human being, not just a mental health professional.
She is kind and not judgmental. She is a wonderful councilor.
Trudy is a great listener. She is very responsive with advice and provides concrete steps to support growth (books, worksheets). She is straight forward, nonjudgmental, and encouraging. I look forward to continuing to work with Trudy.
Trudy is a great counselor. She always helps me no matter what the circumstance might be at that moment. Always a very calm person to listen to you and offer advice and coping skills.
I was not able to make time for therapy sessions, which was making life even more difficult, as I explained this to Trudy, she went well above and beyond to help me, well outside of her role as a therapist. Nw that my work schedule has eased up, the first thing I've done is jump back in & would have no other choice than Trudy!
Trudy has good at responding, direct and to the point. She’s been professional, helpful, and insightful. I’m thankful for the support she’s given.
Trudy is really caring and really engages with me. I am so grateful I gave this online service a try. I appreciate the convenience of communication with Trudy and the guidance she has to offer me.
Trudy is a very understanding person. I tried therapy in person a few times before reaching out on BetterHelp and she has made the experience much easier for me.
She is wonderful!
Trudy is funny, kind, and encouraging. She is such a great listener. My very first counseling session was the best counseling experience I have ever had, and I've been going to counseling off and on for the past six years. I look forward to my time with her. She is truly helpful in my mental health journey.
I appreciate Trudy's professional demeanor and her warm welcome that she offers. I feel 100 percent comfortable talking to her and feel that she does not judge. I've been to a counselor before and feel that she tells me like it is even if I may not want to hear it, which is exactly what I need.
Trudy is a very nice, and very supportive. She tells it like it is, isn’t one to sugar coat things. She’s respectful of her clients, and keeps in touch to make sure you’re doing okay. I wouldn’t want another therapist, she’s excellent.
