My goal is to help you manage distress and identify problem-solving skills that will keep you mangaging in the future.

Originally from Michigan, I gave up cold winters for the palm trees of sunny San Diego, then backtracked somehow and am enjoying scalding summers and sunny winters in Denver. Licensed in both Colorado and California, I am empathetic, nonjudgmental, and authentic. Once I know you, I like to give it to you straight with a good sense of humor. I have over ten years of experience providing mental health services to adults, families, and children, and I have been providing online therapy since 2015. I work with all types of issues, including depression, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship conflicts. I loved working with Beth as my BetterHelp therapist! I was only a few months new to therapy when we were first paired in June 2020 -- and working with her up through August 2022 -- she helped make therapy a regular and welcome part of my life. Through whatever way I needed to get my thoughts out, Beth was supportive to receive: video call sessions or journal entries or simply me sending giant blobs of stream-of-consciousness chat messages. She would ask thoughtful and difficult and important questions that allowed me to dig into my "why" and uncover what I was really thinking and feeling. Throughout our two years working together, I don't think she ever needed to cancel or reschedule for any of our appointments! I'm taking a break from BetterHelp for now, but should I ever revisit the platform, I would 1,000,000% love to have Beth as my therapist again.

I’ve been working with Beth for over a year. I signed up with BetterHelp during a terrible rough patch in my life. I have therapy through an HMO but my mental state wouldn’t allow me to get out of bed and face the world so I have this service a shot. My first counselor wasn’t a good fit but I matched with Beth the second time around. It’s strange how a person can put you at ease despite never meeting face to face.
